Happy Tuesday friends! Today I have a belated Monday Makeup Video/post for you guys! I wanted to share my thoughts on this very unique foundation. I have been testing it out for a while now and have some very clear thoughts about it. Check out the video for the review....more pictures and info below! 
This makeup has some big claims.. It claims to magically transform from a liquid to a powder when applied. It also claims that it will leave you with a very natural bare face finish. WOW.. Sounds exciting huh!? I love that they offer 12 shades but I think they run a little dark.. so take note. I am in shade 314 which is a pretty close match to my natural skin color.
The bottle is glass...and while a lot of others don't like like it, I actually do. But remember if you drop it on a hard surface, its going to shatter and make a huge mess.. so be careful! Also, the top of the bottle tends to get a little messy.. so I just wipe it off with a tissue so it doesn't get on anything else. The formula is super thin. And it separates so shake..shake..shake before applying. Loreal recommends using your fingers to blend it into your skin for the most natural look. I tried using my fingers and a brush. A brush left it looking streaky.. and I thought a sponge or beauty blender would just soak up the makeup being it was so thin. So applying it with your fingers really is the best way.
I found it gave me a really natural look with just the right amount of coverage. You can clearly see my freckles through it. I think this is a great everyday foundation. Lasting time will probably vary person to person but it last about 4/5 hours without me setting it with a powder. Btw. I have set it with a powder and it still looked really nice..with just a little more coverage and a little longer lasting power. I just find this really nice for days around the house or running errands into town. I probably wouldn't use it for a party or big event but for everyday.. I love it!
