Lorac Pro Palette { First Impressions, Swatches & Video }

Monday, September 2, 2013

Hi everyone! I thought I would share my first impressions of my new Lorac Pro Pallete! I loved that this palette contained both matte shades as well as shimmer shades. Here's the video and more pictures and information below. Hope you enjoy!

Lorac Pro Pallet $42, Ultra

I love how thin this palette is. The case feels soft and a little rubbery. I really like it. Plus it has a really large mirror which comes in handy too. Also included with this palette is a mini  travel-sized Behind the Scenes Eye Primer.

This neutral eyeshadow palette has 16 colors total. 8 are matte and 8 are shimmer shades. These eyeshadows are supposed to be “ultra-pigmented” and can be applied wet or dry.

1. White - Matte cool toned crisp white shade. A bit powdery but still works great. I tend to use a primer or base anyway which helps with powdery shadows.

2.Cream- Another one of the light matte shadows. This one is more warmer toned and still pretty light.
Makes a great inner corner highlight.

3.Taupe - Mediumn warm toned brown. Which I like a lot! It has great color payoff and blends out nicely.

4.Light Pink - Cool toned very pale pink matte shade which is really pretty. A bit powdery but not too bad.

5.Mauve - Pretty plum color with a touch of pink. It has great color payoff and another great matte color.

6.Sable - Warm toned medium brown matte color that blends out nicely.

7.Espresso - A cool toned dark taupe shade - more brown than grey base - that has really good color payoff.

8.Black - This is a dark black matte shade that does give a little fall out. Use a base and pack it on to avoid a messy clean up.

9. Nude - A satin/shimmer shade that is a bit off white in color. Applied really easily.

10. Champagne - My photo does not do this color justice... because its one of my favorites! Its more rose color with good pigmentation.

11. Gold - This is a gorgeous gold color. It applied really nice and has such a beautiful color payoff. Love it!

12. Light Bronze - This is just a darker version of champagne to me. I think its blends nicely.. looks great and has a very pretty shimmer to it.

13. Pewter - Medium Shimmery dark brown color. It looks really pretty on and has a buttery effect.. as most of the other shimmer colors.

14. Garnet - More of a redish brown cooper color. Its has a beautiful sheen to it and would great on blue and green eyes.

15. Deep Purple - More of a satin egg plant shade that is perfect for fall. It blended really nice and has just a small amount of sheen to it.

16. Slate - Deep grey with just a hit of shimmer. Blends nicely and has good color payoff.

This palette also comes with a..

A small  travel-sized Behind the Scenes Eye Primer that helps keep the shadows on even longer. I have not tired this primer yet but I will put it to the test very soon!

Overall, I think this palette is a great neutral palette that works great from day to night. There are a ton of looks you can get just from this one very nice set of shadows. I think this is the perfect palette for fall with all the neutral shades. I also this is very travel friendly being its super thin with a large mirror. I feel confident that I could go on a trip with just this palette and be more than happy! I think I will use ALL the colors not just one or two which happens with a lot of eyeshadow palettes.

If you are wanting a great neutral palette then this one is for you! I think the price is ok being you are getting so many great shadows in one palette that you will be able to use for a very long time. I am even thinking that I might even have to do a giveaway soon because I know you guys will love it as much as I do!

Let me know if you have this and what you think or if you think its something you would like to get!

xoxo
