For our first crockpot dessert, I choose Bananas Foster. You know that yummy dessert with bananas and brandy.. with butter and brown sugar. Its normally lit on fire but I didn't lite anything in my kitchen tonight! No thank you!! But this is just as good. Its not a really pretty dish.. but it well makes up for it. It delicious and so easy to do!
* I am doubled this recipe.. again.. you have to be careful to not burn it. And its great in oatmeal from what I hear!

Here's the video..
Bananas Foster
3 old bananas (really.. it doesn’t matter if they are all swishy and black..use them! )
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) butter
1 t vanilla
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup brandy (optional
Take your old bananas
peel and smash them up.
You can put them in a zip lock and smash them or use a potato masher because its just easy!
Measure out your Brandy and Brown Sugar..
You'll need 1/2 stick of butter per 3 bananas.
And you will need some vanilla.. and
the Brandy is optional.
Add the bananas to the crockpot.
add the rest of the ingredients and stir.
Put the lid on and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours.
and I like to serve it over ice cream.
Its heaven!!!!
If you like Bananas Foster to begin with.. you won't be disappointed with this dish. Its super good.. and if you have never tried it before.. give it a try.. its really yummy! And I have a bunch of it to eat up over the next few days! =)
