Over the weekend I made this Apple Crumble!! I love apple season and always get more apples than I know what to do with!
So I took out one of my favorite cookbooks and got busy making this fall desert!
The Amish Cook at Home..
Super simple ingredients..
5 Large Apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced ( 6 cups )
1 cup granulated sugar
For the Topping
1 cup ( 2 Sticks ) of butter
1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
1 1/2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup all purpose flour.
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease any baking dish
Put the apple slices in the dish.. sprinkle with the granulated sugar.. Gently toss with your fingers to mix
To make the topping.
Combine the butter, cinnamon, oats, brown sugar, and four in a medium bowl and mix with your fingertips until the mixture is coarse and crumbly.
Spoon eventually over the apples
and bake until golden brown - about 45 minutes -
and enjoy!
Here's my step by step by step video!
Have a great evening!

That looks so yummy. I 've been so lazy in the kitchen lately but I feel inspired now.
