Goodnight..

Sleepy hello to you all. Its 230am so I need to breeze through through this post because morning is already here. Thank goodness tomorrow is Monday and that means I can go back to bed for a few hours after the boys leave! 

Today started off totally lazy. Scott, Jackson and myself laid around the house in our pjs till after 3pm dozing on and off. I finally had to get up and go to the store. I threw on a pair of sweats.. a big fluffy sweater and out the door I went. I was a total mess. My hair was everywhere.. no make up .. but I had to go out. 

I was gone about an hour and I felt like I ran 5 miles by time I got home. It was really cool here today.. taking everything out of me. We used the fireplace all morning. 

Something kicked in though and I got busy with.. 

I had a bunch of apples I wanted to use up so I made this. 

and served it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! 

I kept busy whipping up some dinner.. I stayed busy in the kitchen all evening.. Around 7pm it was 

I made Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes and green beans. One of husby's favorite meals... and I served it up with.. 

Fall is here.. and the garden is quietly going away. =(

Scott and Jackson made their way to bed pretty early and I enjoyed the night in the living room watching tv and doing laundry. Yea.. not too glamorous.. but something that had to be done. I think we have little laundry fairy's who go around to each closet and just pulls out clothes for me to wash.. because I don't have anything better to do.. our laundry is insane. 

I got a little time to love on 

Romeo is seriously the coolest cat ever. I adore him. I really do. He's sleeping right here beside of me. One of my friends in LA adopted a little white Persian from a kill shelter yesterday.. and the kitten is deaf. She called me to see what my thoughts were on such a kitten and wondered if it there would be any behavior issues due to it not being able to hear. Oddly enough.. I have NEVER had a deaf cat before.. So I got out my books and learned a little about raising a deaf cat. After I read to her what the book said.. in detail.. she went and got this little guy.. 

She hasn't got a name for him yet but I just had to share that sweet story with you. Its sad someone sent a kitty to a KILL SHELTER because it was deaf. She has a special needs kitty but I think he will prove to be an amazing cat. Kittens who are deaf howl a lot.. and she he has been doing that.. and  hes such a sound sleeper because he can't hear. The book also said you can teach a cat sign language so I am sure they will figure it out together! Really sweet story and I bet the beginning to a very long friendship. 

Tomorrow I plan to work around here.. get some videos up and I also want to get those swatches done. Its suppose to be another cold day.. so I am staying inside!!
