Peaceful Night

What a calm night around here. I couldn't be more grateful because again today.. I just wasn't feeling that good and just didn't want an exciting loud house. I guess thats not too fair to the boys though. Thankfully both of them understood and kept things easy around here for me. I have been loving this new sugar cookie candle lately. It makes the house smell amazing and it goes perfectly with the twinkle lights!

I didn't even have to cook a lot either. It was..

Pizza and wings. I might not like pizza but I sure love honey BBQ wings! I made a total mess eating them but so worth it!

I sat back and enjoyed the DNC.

Well, Bill Clinton did an amazing job.. Here is his full speech.. and its worth watching..

I try to not talk politics too much on here. We are all allowed to have and express our individual political preferences and I don't want to shove anything down anyones throats. But this has to be one of his ALL TIME BEST SPEECHES THAT I CAN REMEMBER. I could fully dedicate myself to political journalism but thats just me. I went to college and had a great time but I wish I would have focused more on journalism and politics. I can't believe I'm not in Charlotte for this. I don't think I could get husby to go along so I didn't even try. =( Tonight there were a lot of great speakers.. and tomorrow will be even better when the President speaks! Excited!

Tomorrow is going to be a long day. Scott works till 8 and Jackson has school and homework. Morning will come a lot faster than what I want and before I know it, I will be loading Jackson up in the car to take him to school.

Its become a tradition of sorts for me
