Sleepy

What a day.. I woke up feeling like I was hung over and it has lasted all day long. I was totally unproductive.. lazy.. and even a little grumpy. Coffee did nothing to help.. and there was no way I was going to get a nap with 2 boys running around the afternoon. I am hoping soon to doze off and pray I wake up feeling more like myself. 

Scott came home and it would have been so easy to just end the night.. put on the pjs at 5pm and be done but nope.. Jackson was at his friends so we thought it would be a good time for a 

Saturday Food Shopping Date

Its kinda sad that the only time we can find alone is in the market but it was better than nothing! 

Its funny to take him shopping.. There are so many choices, and I think it overwhelms him! He was a big help but he also was a pain in the ass.. Let me be very clear.. 

Scott doesn't care if its organic, cage free, fat free, sugar free, frozen, fresh.. he doesn't care. I try to do as much organic and healthy food as I can.. but tonight while I was putting my organic frozen waffles in our buggie, he said.. 

" Sucker "

me -Ummmm... what?

Scott - You are a marketing dream - 

I said some choice words after that.. and kept shopping.. 90% of the food that we got tonight was organic and fresh. 

Husby did pick out a couple of fresh items.. 

He got some fish and veggies.. 

It was a blessing to take my snickering husband with me 

because he did a lot of pushing the basket, getting the groceries put in the car.. 

Its so funny to take him shopping.. I didn't pay no mind to his organic food bitching.. Hes been drinking organic milk for a long time now.. We won't buy it when hes shopping on his own but there is no other option when I am doing the shopping! I think its about building up your food supply a little at a time. When it comes to dairy.. I really just feel its the best option.. and apples have a ton of pesticides sprayed on their flesh. No thank you. I do like some junk food from time to time and finding that in organic is next to impossible.. so I do still have a twinkie from time to time! =)

Husby even carried them all in for me which was totally appreciated because I have to do that by myself most of the time. 

He didn't stop there either.. 

While I was putting all my " sucker " food up he got busy cooking! 

I don't think there is anything sexier than a man in the kitchen! ♥

He was having a good time too! 

Looks good huh!? He was really proud of dinner and he loved it! And NO, the rice was not organic!

We actually had a pretty good time shopping and being in the kitchen together. We laughed a lot. As the years pass, we are feeling more and more at peace with life together and really just trying to get through it one smile at a time. We also spent some time on the computer together trying to get some last minute things caught up on a household project. 

Tomorrow he said he is getting up and cooking breakfast before he takes off. Hes got something to do about noon.. but shouldn't be that long so I am thinking tomorrow would be perfect for playing at Broad River. Its late and I am sleepy.. time to cuddle up with husby and start dreaming!
