Jaggers Family Command Center

Hello and Happy Wednesday! I know I did a post here of the beginning of the Jaggers Family Command Center but I have it done for the most part now.. so I thought it would be the perfect Wednesday Organization post! If you want to just see the video. its at the bottom!

As you can I see I moved it to a larger wall. You could use any free wall in your home and it doesn't have to be as big as ours.

I have it kinda broke up in 2 areas on the same wall..

This is the main side of our command center.
which holds a lot of our important family dates, notes, papers, and its also Jackson's area.

The Other side just has a pin board with a few handy items to make organization even easier.

This is our main board.

It changes on a daily basis..

At the very top I added this - stick it - weekly area for blog notes..this area is super handy to keep everything organized for the blog. I jot down what I want to get posted each week and where blog ideas start to come alive.

Then under I like to keep various quotes.. right now this quote is up.. Scott and I also leave notes for each other here.. and we also list big things that we don't want to forget.

Menu Planning
has got switched up.. Instead of writing out every meal.. I am now pretty much just figuring out dinners for 1 week in advance. I got tired of all planning - ALL - the meals, many times we would change it last minute anyway.. so this is easier for our family.

But I will have to plan Jackson's lunches out a little.. but it should be fairly easy so I am not writing it all out.

To the right of the big board is my calender which has kittys on it of course.

This keeps ALL the important dates of things going on in our family.. I think its super important to make sure you add some calender time in schedule because it makes things so much easier.

This is   Jacksons area..

He has his chore chart, school schedule, calender, school notes and I added some command hooks for his backpack and lunch box.. BUT.. the lunch box will be in the kitchen most of the time when its home so I think one of the hooks will be for a jacket or maybe his house key. That gets me thinking about a counter lunch box station.. → The wheels are turning! ←

I also added his chore chart to this area. Jackson is almost 10 years old and I think he could do more around here but its the school year and I want him to focus on school so the chores are limited..

As you can see I break them down by

Morning
After School
Evening
Weekly

This has become VERY useful in our home. He is up at this chart many times through out the day making sure his stuff is done.

On the other side, I keep anotherpin board that comes in handy to hold misc papers.

It also holds a pen holder that does a great job of giving the dry erase makers a home.. and it also contains a plastic envelope. I keep coke points, cat food points, and bills in this handy envelope! My sister in law gave me 2 of these and the other is in my coupon organizer! Thanks Trina!

I also added some family pictures to make it feel like home.

Heres the video..

Do you have a command center in your house? I would love to see it.. Send me a picture to mrskishajaggers@gmail.com or upload a video response on the video above and I will be happy to feature them! I love anything to do with organization and this area is one of my favorite areas in the house. It really does do a great job of keeping us all organized.

Have a great Wednesday!
