Today's tip is a tip about non stick spray! I use this Crisco kind because I find it really works well on all things. I do have a aerosol can where I can make my own spray but I still find myself reaching for this kind more than anything else.
So here are my 2 best tips for this spray...
Around here we make a lot of guacamole dip. We love it. When I was in mexico this is basically all I ate.. ( To check out Mr. Jaggers Guacamole Dip post click here!! ) But if you try to save any left overs, it will turn completely brown. YUCK! But here's the tip..
Place the guacamole in a
container and spray the top of it with non stick cooking spray and place in the
refrigerator. The next day it will still be green!
Next up.. Eggs!!
I make really good over easy or medium eggs. They always come out good with this tip..
We all know to spray the bottom of the pan before we
drop an egg into it but did you know if you spray the yolk with the spray it
protects it from breaking! It works like a charm!! Try it!
From eggs to cheese..
Did you
know if you spray your grater before starting to grate cheese, the cheese wont
stick? Works great!
And here is today's final Cooking Spray Tip..
Nails.. Yep, Its not just for cooking! Spray nails
lightly with cooking spray after polishing to help speed up the drying process.
