Ray's Splash Planet with the boys!

Monday, July 16, 2012

Yesterday we took off on a very cloudy day to take the boys out to a small indoor waterpark in Charlotte.. I won't lie, it was hard getting out of the bed for both husby and I but we did it anyway. We are taking Zane back to his moms on Friday so we really needed to make the most of this last Sunday for him. The weather report said rain so we also had to find some where inside..

Rays Splash Planet was the answer!!

It took about an hour to get there..

But we made it.

The boys were totally excited..

We got our stamps and went in..

It reminded me very much of the Y in Indiana.. but ti does have a

larger slide!

Before I knew it, the boys were off..

I think the lazy river was so cute.. I love those things.. just floating around with no cares in the world.. well, I had to keep an eye  on the boys but they do have lifegards and the deepest water was only 3.5 feet deep. So not too many worries!

More of the lazy river..

Even husby loved it..

The slide was also a lot of fun..

The Vortex..

which was a total blast because it just moves you around and around..

But husby got back in the lazy river!!

We packed a picnic so we out in the benches and had some lunch!

And right back in we went..

Love this picture!!

My boys! ♥

They even played some basketball!

More of the lazy river..

Then eventually back to the slides..

Blurry picture of husby waving.. can't wait for my camera to be done because my phone doesn't get the quality of pictures I like!

It really was a sweet little place..

Full of kids!

I even went up to take a picture of the kids going down the slide..

There goes Jackson..

There goes Zane..

And there goes husby!

After 5 hours we were all exhausted and headed back to Courtneys.. and enjoying the downtown Charlotte on the way...

Its a nice city.. for sure!

I love this pink building.. however, I have no idea what it is..

On the way home we saw the pretty rainbow!

Heres a quick video!!

It was a great day! If you are in the NC area..and have little ones, check it out!
