I am a huge huge fan of the Maybelline Great Lash Loads of Lashes mascara. ( See full review here!!) so when I saw another new Maybelline mascara out there, I was hoping I would like it the same!

I have to admit..
I totally loved the packaging. That color is amazing and it really pops out when you see it in the drugstore.
Check out the weird brush..
I am going to get right into my thoughts on this..
For me this mascara doesn't work. Its way too wet for my liking. I don't care for a formula that is almost as thin a water. I am wondering if after I have it for a while if it will thicken up or not?? Hoping so.. but lets talk about the brush more..
It really bends..
See how its a " flexie " brush?? Well I don't find that handy at all. I feel like you really have to work at applying this to the lashes because of how flimsley it is. And lets just say, I don't like putting my mascara on forcefully.. I also find that kind of brush does not do so well for me either. There seemed to be little control with the brush. =( Its weird shaped and doesn't coat my lashes that well. I don't know where they come up with it giving any kind of volume. I also found it to be clumpy and it totally smudged under my eyes.
I have seriously got bigger thicker lashes with some of the Maybelline Lenghtening mascaras. I was pretty disapointed that such a cute tube would have such a bad formula in it. Now.. with that said, if you go really slow and pull up you can get a more natural looking lash and it is kinda soft. But for me, its just the wrong mascara. I like big pretty dramatic lashes and this does not deliver that effect.
Another thing I noticed was this mascara does not last all day. Nope. I would say it lasted about 1/2 a day before flaking off.. leaving the dark smudged look. Again.. NOT GOOD.
So I am going to suggest, leaving this one on the shelves and picking another mascara out. There are so many better ones than this one. I am in total love with the Maybelline Great Lash Loads of Lashes still so maybe try that one out!
