Hello friends.. hope you were able to spend tonight relaxing with your loved ones as I did tonight! It was quiet the day around here. The power went out about 3 pm and didn't come back on till almost 6pm. I can't really complain because I thought it would have took longer to get on. One thing that is pretty weird is... we don't have any power lines in our neighborhood.. NONE. All our power lines are underground.. I have never lived in an area without standing power lines. Its suppose to help keep the electric from going on as much but it doesn't seem to be working so good. Do any of you guys have underground power lines? Just wondering how normal that is!

Anyway, today was spent around the house.. I worked like crazy while the electric was off.. I got a massive amount of laundry folded, hung, and organized. I guess not having the tv or computer paid off! Scott is normally home with me on Tuesdays but today he worked so he could take Saturday off without effecting any of his vacation days. I missed him today =( but once he got home.. we had a really nice night together.
We went shopping for a few..

And I even have a small
food haul that I recorded and will be getting up tomorrow for you guys.
The rest of the night was pretty easy. I couldn't believe that the season finale of American Idol was on tonight. For some reason I thought it was tomorrow and Thursday but I was so happy with my DVR tonight!!! What would we ever do without it?? Anyway, I think Jessica did the best and tomorrow we will find out who the winner is.. EXCITED!!
Right now it is thundering and lightening out.. and I think it is helping husby sleep. He is just snoring like crazy right now. I am happy for him because he hasn't been sleeping good either and he really needs a good nights sleep. I actually made myself sleep in today and I felt better today than I have in days. But its 130 am and I am still up.
Tomorrow should be pretty busy however Scotts boss is coming over for dinner. Yep.. so got to make sure the house looks good and dinner tastes amazing! Since we went shopping tonight I am going to be able to stay home all day and get things done. I didn't get finished with the kids rooms so I am also going to be working on them too. On Friday I am going to buy a new mattress set for my room and hopefully having it delivered early before we take off to Indiana. Jackson was bragging tonight that he is packed up already and is ready for me to come get him. He told me that we might need to bring a Uhaul because he has a lot of stuff. I explained to him that he could leave his bedroom suit at his daddys and he said he didn't want to leave anything. Ha! He's leaving it.. but I am pretty sure the rest of his stuff is going to be loaded up.
I get a lot of emails from this blog being I don't have the comments open anymore. I try to respond to them all as fast as I can.. I am always running behind with emails but I got one this evening that I thought I needed to reply on here for everyone to see.
The email stated something to the effect ( sorry too lazy and tired to get into my email and copy it ) that I am being paid to give the reviews on items and that they know its not really my opinion because I am being paid to give that review. It was sent after my Seneca Apple Chip Review was posted..
First off.. let me start off by saying that NO ONE TELLS ME WHAT TO SAY ON HERE..My husband doesn't even do that let alone any company. Most of the time I buy the products I review on my own but there are times when something has been sent to me but that does not influence my opinion/review. What is write are my true personal feelings and I would never let anything influence me what to say or not say. And when it comes to personal matters or friends and family.. I don't just post their issues or problems normally. I do keep many things private but if I want to speak about one of those private matters.. I will. This is my blog.. and I have been giving you my own personal thoughts on all kinds of things for years now. If I do get a request to take it down due to privacy most of the time I will respect that but still...if you guys are regular readers of this blog you should know better by now that I will say exactly feel. My reviews are always my honest thoughts. I will always give you MY opinion and only MY opinion. And if it is a sponsored review I will always tell you that upfront. I bought those Apple Chips myself and I love them because they are delicious! =)
