I have been getting away with not cooking for most of the week.. but last Friday.. I decided to get back in the kitchen.. and on the deck to the grill!

I have been so spoiled this week with eating out.. that when I did get back in the kitchen, I wanted something good.. but easy. It was just Scot and I but I bought and decided to cook

a 5 pack of pork chops. These were pretty thin and I thought it would be handy to have them for left overs make for some pork fried rice..

I picked up this

Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing to use on the chops. Salad dressings work great for giving a mild hint of flavor..

I also decided to cook up some asparagus so I prepped it and

took off outside to get the chops on the grill.

Grilling makes clean up so much easier!

I popped some potatoes in the microwave because I didn't want to turn on the oven and they would have took too long on the grill.

The asparagus got put in a skillet with a few tablespoons of butter and cooked up till tender and juicy.

Husby was a big help in the kitchen that night.

I love a man who isn't afraid to get in there and help with dinner.

Within 30 minutes,

dinner was platted up..

I got the sweet potato and husby

had a regular baked potato.

I love quick 30 minute dinners. Thin chops work perfect for a fast dinner!
