Hello everyone! I am wore out tonight. I think chasing after the kids and working around the house is wearing me out! It was a pretty easy day around here. I got a lot of posts done.. and believe me, its not always easy blogging with the kids around.. but I hurried through most of them and hope that you guys can make sense of it all!

We were all kinda lazy in the morning. The kids get up so early at their dads ( 5am ) and around here there is nothing to do in our house that early other than sleep!! So its been nice for the kids to have easy mornings!
But we did get up and do some shopping and then stopped by subway and grabbed some lunch to bring home with us..
My chicken bacon ranch flatbread was
amazing!! However, its not easy to take a hyper little boy into subway with so many choices for him to make!
We hung out around the house most of the day.. which was good because
Jackson met a new friend from across the street and
they had a great time!

made some new friends today too!
Scott got home and we kinda relaxed for a while..
and we even had some alone time.. which I desperately needed with him. I miss him so much when the kids are here. I am always wanting him home when the kids are here. He might not be active every moment.. but just having him here changes everything.
For dinner I was going to make pork chops but being the kids were out till the sun came down playing.. I got away with
Frozen Pizzas and Bagel Bites! Ha! I was so happy that I didn't have to put that much effort into cooking dinner tonight.
I did get the first batch of the homemade fruit roll ups and
I will be posting the step by step directions tomorrow.. Plus going to make a bunch more too! Next time the kids get to help!
The rest of the night was spent on
laundry.. I really don't think they ever reuse a towel at their dads house. Nope.. Because here, I am washing a load of towels everyday. I think they should have to use them at least for 2 nights. Soooo.. going to have to work on that with them too this summer. In fact, I think I work on that at the beginning of every summer.
Both kids are doing really good. They had no fights today until late afternoon and I ended it fast. I think the one thing that I would change if I could.. is how loud they are. I love hearing the laughs and giggles.. but Brittany screaming at her brother at the top of her lungs is a little too much for my ears! But they are the loves of my life and I am really proud of them both. Jackson still needs a little work.. but that will happen with time. But what's important is.. he has a gentle heart and is such a loving little boy.
Tomorrow is going to be a long late night for Scott and I am dreading it. I want him home..I am sure I will wake up missing him. I really love him and can't wait for the days to come when he can slow down with work.. where we can have more time together. That was one of the reasons that we considered working for my mom.. because we could work together.. but it would be the same as working on the road.. like we did before and traveling is just not something that will work with the lives we have now. So I guess I will have to wait till we retire to South Florida! =) Anyway, its going to be a long day without him here. We are just taking the day as it comes!
