Last night I really just wanted to go have a steak dinner some where and not have to cook! So Scott and I got cleaned up and had a really really nice date night! With the kids coming in the next couple of weeks.. we won't get that much time together so it was super nice!

We decided to try another local Restaurant in Shelby..
Ni Fen Bistro!
When we walked in we realized that it was a very nice, mid sized , busy restaurant. To be honest, we were both pretty hung over and I didn't want to drink anything at all.. So I got a yummy
Sweet Tea.. and it was delicious.
Scott of course had some
white wine.
We were sitting by this really interesting wine rack that had a barrel at the top and shelves going down it.
It was the perfect table tucked away in the back.
It was really dim
and enchanting.

We were starving and so happy that the food finally came!
First to come was the salad.. I always judge a restaurant by the house salad. If you can make a good simple salad with good lettuce then I probably won't be coming back.
I ate every bite of this salad... so thumbs up!! It was really good! Possibly better than the steak to me!

Scott got the
Scott go the Tuna, Bok Choy , and rice and I got the
Steak, Mashed Potatoes, and Bok Choy. Thumbs down to no baked potatoes.. but dinner was still amazing. The steak was rather large and I brought about 1/2 home for lunch in the coming days.
I got this banana dessert too.. but to bring home. It was ice cream so we had to hurry.. but we did shop after dinner and it held up just fine till we got home!
It comes with a warm rum sauce over it with bananas, blueberrys, strawberries, and French Vanilla Ice cream on what is said to be a crepe. Not really a crepe to me but it was
still really really good! Scott helped eat it too!
While we were out shopping we go this
chargeable Bug Zapper for the back porch. We get ate up out there and hoping that this maybe helps. I plan on doing a review on it soon.. fingers crossed it gets those nasty little mosquitoes!
We also stopped by walmart and picked up some
tomato cages and
flowers.. this time its for around the mailbox! Garden Update coming soon!
We also stopped by Kmart and I saw this
I know its a bit spooky looking but I will get some better pictures of it soon! I know I just got and posted about the Burt Bees Gud Products but I saw that my normal John Fredia Shampoo and saw at Walmart that 2 of them had these great great coupons!
I had to ring them up separately but it was totally worth it!
Can you believe my ice cream lasted while we shopped? Amazing.. guess it was froze really hard!
To make date night even sweeter.. we came home and watched..

It was a great night.. and today was pretty nice too.. Lazy but nice!
