Hello friends!!

Sorry about the lack of blogging yesterday... I didn't blog for a few reasons.. First off, my hand was hurting and I thought that I would give it a day off!! And plus it was family day..and I am battling the flu and so is husby.. BTW.. when I say family day, I don't just mean Scott and Michael. I am talking about my kiddos too. More about that in a minute!

I didn't do much at all yesterday. Husby and Michael were golfing. I just hung out around the house for the most part. I watched a movie and thought it was amazing.. and I will get a review up today about it. Then I took off to run some errands but not before my

little Jackson called. He got into trouble last week at school as his dad has grounded him so he has been calling me a lot more.. plus he has been reading a lot more. He called me to tell me that he was almost done reading his bible. He was on pg 467 and there were only 504 pages total. So on the way to town, Jackson read me the last pages of his bible. Here I am, driving down the road on a sunny day while my 9 year old reads me the bible. Wow.. who would have thought!?  Then all through my errands we talked about the things he read such as the burning the bush, how God preformed miracles for the blind,  and how all the animals had to get on the ark. Again.. MY KIDS!! Then he asked me a question that I will NEVER forget.

Jackson " Mommy, do you think they used a nail gun to nail Jesus to the big wood cross? "

Me " No baby, they had no electricity during that time. "

Jackson " A hand is pretty thick to pound a nail in. "

Me " Yes, and I am sure it hurt"

Jackson " Mommy, don't worry... God was his father so I bet he didn't let it hurt him too badly "

Wow.. I really am proud of my kids. First off their father is an agnostic. Seriously.. I don't think he ever has been in a church.. we didn't even marry in a church.. and there is not a lot of time for me to instill spirituality in them but something I have done has worked. My daughter seems wise beyond her years when it comes to prayer and Jackson is learning as much as he can about God..even when he is alone. I want to be clear about something. I do study Kabbalah. It's what makes sense to me. I strongly believe in God and Prayer..however the rest of the details really don't matter to me. BUT I want my kids to learn those details and decide for THEMSELVES what they believe. I already feel ahead of the game with them. It makes me proud that in the environment they live in with their father is making no difference on their own beliefs. I also think the many deaths that my children have had to experience has also made them believers in angels. I am very proud of them and when they get here next month I will put them back in vacation bible school and I plan on having many more conversations with them about this subject!

So my errands were filled up with Jackson and bible verses and when I got home.. Scott was passed out in the bed and Micheal was on the couch sleeping. You can't see if someone is laying on the couch from behind so I didn't know he was sleeping until I woke him up. His eyes were so red and it wasn't long before he was stumbling up the stairs to get more sleep. I figured since they were sleeping and being lazy.. that I shouldn't start cleaning and be loud so I went to bed too. I think we all woke up about 7 or so.. I didn't even get out of the bed till 830.. and by that time the guys were starving so I made

per Michael's request. Husby kinda wanted chicken fried steak ( first option ) but he got out voted and ended up having pancakes and eggs too!

After I made breakfast for dinner, I quickly ran upstairs to watch Oprah. She was interviewing the South Carolina mom who murdered her two sons. The interview was ok.. she looked remorseful and blamed depression for what she done. I didn't really believe that. I have suffered from depression for years and I have never thought about hurting anyone, especially my own kids, because I was sad. I shouldn't judge her but its hard not to. She got 35 years in prison for what she done. I personally don't think thats long enough...but she got that sentence because she plead guilty from the start and didn't even have a trial. She also has a 7 year old daughter that is still alive who is also coping with what her mother done. It was pretty sad. At times, I had tears running down my face.

Then Master Class came on with Grant Hill. You guys know how involved I am with sports.. 0%, but his story was very motivating and inspirational. He got that respect for life and the game from his parents and seems to be so grounded and comfortable in his own skin. And I will just say.. he was pretty easy to look at. His smile seemed to light up the screen. I really thought his eyes were so beautiful. It was a great interview!

Then I took a swim around my big bath tub and then went right back to bed. I watched some tv and finally dozed off. So as you can see, it was a pretty lazy Sunday around here. Ohh.. Willow took a swim in the bath last night too. I was laid back in the water reading a magazine and she was on the side of the tub watching.. before I knew it, she was on my stomach.. at that point, I knew MY bath was over. I sat up and put her down in the water and that cat LOVED it!! She just soaked for about 20 minutes.. she walked around in the water.. swatted at a razor that was floating and just really seemed to enjoy the warm water. And they say cats don't like water! =)

After my very lazy Sunday, I have to pay for it today. I am not leaving at all today.. I need to stay here and get the house cleaned up before I get back to spring cleaning. Tomorrow I hope that we all have worked hard on area 1.. If you need to see the cleaning lists again you can click here to see it. Tomorrow we are starting on area 2 but if you are not caught up..take your time. We are doing this slowly so we all have the time to get it done. I got a ton of emails about spring cleaning and in those emails I realized that some of us needed more time. That's the reason for adding one more week to area 1. Hopefully many of you are caught up now!

This month is a big month for us. Scott and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary this week also Scott's birthday is this month...and even baby Ashlynn birthday is this month! I just want to hurry through the month because I want the kids to get here and.. my new baby kitty moves in next month!

Anyway, this post is long enough.. I hope I got you all caught up...first thing I am going to go do is make the bed and get laundry going. I will be back with lots of posts so stay tuned. I did get an email asking how I can stay so busy around the house and blog too.. and they wondered how.. well..

I take BREAKS every 30-45 minutes and it makes me feel better and gives me time to get some computer time in too! =)

Have a great Monday!
