I am waking up and trying to just take it easy right now and just enjoying the pretty day! Its nice around here but its pretty over cast and looks like it might rain..which will help cool things off a bit so we can have the windows open.

I have close to 9 hours before husby or any of the other guys get home tonight. Lots and lots of time on my hands today. Plenty of time for me to get my dirty bathroom cleaned up and organized. Then I am starting with the spring cleaning. Yep, I have some work to get done around here today.. I am thankful that my husband works so hard every day so I can be home on days like this. Home is the place I am happiest at. So today while I am raining around cleaning up the house, I am going to do it with a smile on my face!

I am really trying to think positive more. Its not easy.. I am a glass 1/2 empty type of person but I have been forcing myself to control my thoughts better and think happy thoughts. There is nothing you can do about certain situations.. except just smile and try to find the good in it. Its been working too. Just like yesterday.. court was the last place I wanted to be.. but I had made up my mind that it wasn't going to ruin my entire day.. and it didn't. You know, many years ago.. I had to go to court a lot with my parents and that really did me in on court. I didn't go over my divorce and its still a challenge to get me in to any court. My lawyer use to take bets at the courthouse with the staff, if I was going to show up or not. Sorry for him, that he lost most of the time! Yesterday, there were no bets.. I had to go.. otherwise I would have gotten a failure to appear and would have been in serious trouble. And it wasn't so bad.. it just goes to prove that when you think positive thoughts.. positive things happen.

Thank you guys for the emails about the Apps. I plan on trying out everyone that you guys send me. I woke up to a bunch of emails with new apps and it was so fun reading through them! LOVE IT!!! Keep them coming! I also got some emails about the spring cleaning challenge.. and one was a reader who thought that my list were too much to do. Remember this is SPRING CLEANING. Its not cleaning that you do every week.. and while it might seem like a lot,  its really not that much to do. If your house is a wreck, then yes.. it might be a little harder to do the spring cleaning. But last week, we concentrated on cleaning the house as normal and getting laundry caught up. We also worked on removing the clutter 15 minutes a night from the areas that just get over whelming for us. In our home, my husbands end table, my bathroom counter, and the cubby that is by the back door are where we really get clutter. Then this week we are only working on Area 1.. Front Porch, Front Entrance, and Dinning Room. In our house those areas are the front of the house. So thats what we are starting on. If you need longer, then take more time and do it. Anyone can jump in when ever they want. I am even running behind myself but by Tuesday of next week, the house will be picked up as normal.

Next week though, I will have a full house again. Laura is coming down tomorrow sometime, and cleaning around a bunch of people for me and a baby is not easy. So next week, I am jumping around and I am going to switch the plan a bit and work on the area upstairs. That way, I can still stay on schedule and then when they are gone, work on the other other areas. So stay tuned next week for bedroom and bathroom spring cleaning lists! I already got a couple of pictures of readers getting their homes all spruced up but I want more.. so send them in if you are following along!

Well, I want to get started. I am feeling pretty good today and I hope to get a lot done around here. And I have a lot of posts coming up too!
