So last week I rented this to watch on one of husby's late nights.. I do like Sarah Jessica Parker and of course the Sex in the City movies are favorites of mine but this movie is nothing like both of those.
This movie is based on the critically acclaimed bestseller by Allison Pearson, I Don't Know How She Does It follows a Boston-based working mother trying desperately to juggle marriage, children, and a high-stress job.
For me personally this was not a movie I really enjoyed. I understand how difficult life can be for a mother who is trying to balance life, children, a husband and job but this movie was " dry " to me. I just didn't really like it. There is really no story line except for how crazy her life is. A couple parts even grossed me out.. ( lice scene ) and to be very honest. I almost turned if off half way through the movie when I realized it wasn't going any where. But I did watch it all and I say..
Pass this one up. Sure if you have children you might enjoy it.. I have kids and for this was a dud..
