I can't believe we are only 2 days away from Christmas!!!! WOW!! I am totally getting excited!! My family is going to be here and we are going to have such a good time together. I am more than thankful for them all coming here so we can be together. I just wish the rest of the family was coming too!
I worked around here for a while today but things took longer than I thought they would and then we have some unexpected errands. Just goes to show, everything can be planned out no matter how I wish it could be. I got a lot of the upstairs done today.. still got to pick up one of the bathrooms up there and change Scott's room over to another guest room. Starting tomorrow we will be back to sleeping in the same bed. Yikes!! If he starts snoring, I am sure I will be on the couch sleeping!
I also got a couple things ..
wrapped today.. and we are just crossing things off the list. Everything seems to be coming together. Tomorrow I am doing some shopping and cleaning. I am going to get all the groceries for Christmas dinner, and our buffet tomorrow.. and also pick up a few gifts and a couple things for the house. We are short a few pillows.. so getting more of those and also picking up a couple more plates. I only got enough to serve 6 with the new plates and we are having 8. We have a ton of plates but there is no way in hell, I am not having all the same plates for dinner. So got to get more of those and I want to check on some pretty napkins and rings. My grocery list is actually pretty easy since I am keeping a pretty simple meal. So love that!
Scott and I are really blessed. In fact the blessings just keep pouring in. I don't want to say because I don't want to brag but.. we are very blessed. I swear.. God just keeps watching and helping us when we least expect it! Talk about the magic of Christmas!!

I am actually pretty tired tonight. I am going to get the coffee made and get my butt to bed as soon as I finish..
my yummy eggnog! I had to go on and bust open one of the eggnog's I got for Christmas. I just couldn't help myself!
Anyway.. time for bed!
