Long Sunday!!

Today seemed to last forever. I stayed busy from the moment I woke up till now. I am ready for bed and as soon as this post goes live, that's where I am going!

We got up.. went shopping, stopped for brunch , got the washer and came home

and Scott got it hooked up

and running!

Looks nice huh? You guys know I am not a fan of the front loaders no matter how popular they might be. I like to be able to open it when its washing sometimes, and you can't do that at all with front loaders.

He says its a larger tub.. and I think he's right.

This one is a Maytag..I'm not sure what our old one was.. My memory sucks!! From the moment it got hooked up, I stayed busy with the laundry.. its all done now, but it took over 6 hours to catch it all up.

A lot of it is on the love seat

waiting on me to put it away, but that will wait till tomorrow.

Last night, I realized we needed more Christmas cards...So I went on and ordered 20 more of these..

Cute huh!?

I got busy working on them, then made

Philly Steak and Cheese sandwiches for dinner. Wanted it to be super easy so just served up chips on the side. It worked for me!

Then it was back

to working on Christmas cards..

I did as many as I could stand to do, and will finish them tomorrow.

I next got busy on

making list for everything

still got lots to figure out

but I am working on the food and cookie list

I printed out a lot of recipes I plan on using.

I know I probably could find them in one of my cookbooks but took the easy way out this time!

I kinda broke it down to a shopping list...

well, a 2 sided list at that.

Then I broke that list down

even more

and its also two sided.

The next list I really have got to put together is the Christmas gift list. I have a lot to still get and I can promise you we will be shopping like crazy last minute to get it all finished up! I don't think anyone will be here before the 24th so I am sure that Friday before will be one crazy day!

That's why now is the time to start getting the homemade gifts ready! Tomorrow, I plan on running a couple errands, and then do a little more shopping and come home. I really don't want to leave tomorrow but we will have to wait and see.. I might, I might not!

Right now.. I am sleepy.. the bed awaits me.
