Hello everyone!! I hope every one is happy that today is Friday and the weekend is here!! I think tonight Scott and I are grabbing a bit out and then catching a movie. Well, I just checked the movies and nothing is playing that we would want to see.. so looks like just dinner!!
The sun is really shinning bright today. I don't know how warm it is but the sun is sure warming the house up a bit. I need to hang some clothes out too. I have a very small load in the washer because I just wanted to test it... and it barley works. Scott should be here after 2 pm to move it out and bring the new one. Glad about that. I really really tried to make that washer last as long as I could. I guess 7 years isn't too bad for the life of a washer. I was hoping to get more like 10!!!
I wanted to give you guys an update on my mother in law's dog, Fairway.. I am sure many of you have seen the video of her but in case you haven't here it is..
well she had been having problems and was bleeding when using the bathroom. The vet told Marjorie that she had cancer. Well.. that's a lot for a woman who is dealing with a husband who's health is also fading. So the dog was on all kinds of meds.. and yesterday she got a call from the vet. They told her that they made a mistake and Fairway does not have cancer.. Woooooo-hooooo!!! She just has an infection. I guess what happened was the vet ran some test, but before the results were ever back, they felt is was cancer and went a head and said it. I am so happy that she is not loosing her pet too. I mean that's a lot for any person to handle. So good news!!
Speaking of pets.. Gabby seems to be doing good without the kittens. Her milk is drying up and she is starting to gain weight.. So this weekend she is going to get a bath and get cleaned up!! I am sure she won't like it but afterwards she will feel so much better! While I was typing this paragraph I got a call from a lady who's grandson is looking for a Persian kitten to give to his girlfriend for Christmas. While I love that idea.. I would have to spoil the surprise and actually talk to her and maybe even her parents before I would turn over one of my kittens to her. He also have a $ 50.00 budget and my cats cost much more than that. I suggested he go to his local shelter, find a beautiful kitten, put a big red bow around its neck and say Merry Christmas!! And I am sure she would love it just as much as a Persian!! And that would be more into his budget!
Well.. husby just called and told me to get up to the dealership.. so looks like that's what I am doing. I am still in my pjs so I have to get my butt dressed and cleaned up!
Lots of post coming up.. I have a ton of great recipes and gift ideas that will be posted soon but what I HAVE to do is pick up my pictures from Walgreens in a bit and get our Christmas cards done.. asap!!
