Cleaning Weather..

Well today is all about cleaning around my home. Last night I couldn't remember if I took my sleep meds or not, so I took more.. and that little action made me sleep in today!

Its raining here today.. Perfect weather to stay in and clean up the house. I actually woke up from my mom calling.. I didn't answer.. She text me.. I some how opened my eyes long enough to read it..

Call Me ASAP Please.

So I tossed the phone back across the bed and snuggled into the covers more. However, all kinds of things were going through my head after that text.. Is my grandmother ok.. are the kids ok.. is mom and Don ok?? So I rolled back over, reached for the phone.. and called her back.. Thankfully it was just a call wanting the administrative password to Brittany's laptop.

I don't think I told you guys but my grandmother fell the other day. She has been falling A LOT lately and this time she blacked both her eyes and even the side of her head is bruised all up all the way behind her ear too. As many of you know she has been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.. and its really taking its toll on her. Its so strange.. my father in law is dealing with it.. and now my grandmother is too. She is even having speech issues.. which is classic Parkinson's. She even sounds like my father in law when she speaks. Its scary stuff. I don't think she should be living alone anymore. I wish I had the control to just make her live with someone or in a assisted living community but I don't. That's up to her children and also her. And she is fighting it every step of the way. But at least today's call was not about her!

Scott will be home soon to get some of the Christmas gifts that he wants to mail. There is no way they are going to get there in time. No way.. But he will be here to pick them up and head right back out, which is good because I don't need him home in the way while I am trying to clean things up. I got today and tomorrow to get this place sparkling! But right now I am still on my first cup of

coffee.. I even got the fireplace going too because the house is kinda cold.

So are you guys getting excited for Christmas yet!? I sure am.. cant wait till our family and friends get here on Friday! Mom is flying in.. I think she should be in about 5 pm and Scott is going to pick them up while I finish last minute Christmas shopping, and getting last things picked up around the house. My sister is driving in and will be leaving Florida sometime on Friday and will be getting here late. Our friends will be coming Saturday for dinner and fun.. So they are all heading this way!!

Exciting!!



I just wish the ENTIRE family was coming but they will be here in spirit!
