Clouds & Rain = perfect unpacking weather!!

Afternoon friends!

Well I woke up to another cloudy day.. Not that I mind though! Its just another day of  unpacking so it doesn't really matter.

Sorry about not blogging last night. Scott came home from his wet day at golf and we worked around here for many many hours together, bringing in furniture from the garage and unpacking stuff. I totally appreciated his help because with 2 of us doing it, we got all the stuff in.. I still have a ton of boxes to unpack but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Scott hasn't got a lot of rest the last couple of days. Last night he was snoring, bouncing around the bed, scratching and he was kinda jumpy in bed. If my foot touched him.. he jumped like he was scared. Then he wanted to cuddle up.. I am not the cuddling up type of girl when I am trying to fall asleep. Falling asleep has always been one of the hardest things for me.. and I have to really try at it.. I don't think after all these years, that he understands that! Needless to say he is grumpy today from the lack of sleep! Hopefully that will change as the day continues! But it is a late night for him.. so he won't be back home till after 8.. Looooong day without him!

So more about the house. I had a couple emails wanting to know the progress.. Well, like I said.. all the big stuff is in. The kitchen is pretty much done. I have a ton of boxes in the downstairs study to unpack, I have a ton of work to do upstairs including 2 bathrooms, and I also have a lot of clothes to deal with! I am hoping by this time next week it will all be done! I haven't hung any pictures or anything.. Thats last!! The garage is really starting to look better. It was stacked to the ceiling with boxes and stuff but last night we really really got that garage unpacked! We worked till after 1 am . Thats the reason I didn't say good night to you all! I hate that I have not been blogging that much! It will get back to normal! I promise you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just hang in there with me. My main focus has been turning this house into our home!

Right now I am in the living room where we have 3 windows side by side that basically takes up the entire back wall over looking our deck and back yard. Trying to find a window treatment for those windows is not going to be easy. There are no houses or anything behind us so we have been just not worrying about it but we are going to have to figure something out. What's weird is there is no curtain rods or places binds were attached so I wonder what the previous family did. From what I can tell. they left the way they are. We also have 3 little windows in our breakfast nook that we have to get curtains for too. I am thinking some cute white ones!

Ohh.. Tonight is the 2 hour season premier of Grey's Anatomy!! Super excited.. So I will for sure not be unpacking during that!! So if you are a Grey's lover like I am ... You won't want to miss it!!

Well time to grab another box and get started! Have a great Thursday!
