More 4th of July Festivities!!!

Hello!! Its late and I am totally exhausted.. I really could use some sleep but here I am blogging! I wont be up for too long! We had a really nice time today! Our friends came over and we cooked out.. let the kids play.. and then set off a bunch of fireworks. I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked.. But here are some of the ones I did get!

I started getting things ready to grill out.. Got the hamburgers, chicken, hot dogs, potato salad, corn, baked beans, chips, cookies, and my friend brought over some tiramisu! I loaned her my big trifle dish and she did the rest!

I also made sortive a avocado salad that I intended to put on top of the chicken..

Full grill..but have to make room for more!

The guys stayed out of the way and got the water balloons done up.. My girlfriend also took charge and got some blown up too!

In the mean time the kids played on the slip and slide..

Before we knew it.. all the neighborhood kids were here!

Scott was right out there too helping out!

Its crazy how much the kids love this water slide!

Of course Cooper was right there too!

This is Morgan coming off the slide! She lives right down the street and is here every day!

Most of was sitting back watching!

I love listening to them giggle!

Got even more on my little grill.. I swear these grills make the food taste so much better than any gas grill! I love a charcoal grill!

Brittany and Morgan were singing and dancing for us...which was pretty cute!

We had a really good dinner.. Afterwards I brought out all the fruit and cookies and other sweets for the kids to all enjoy! I am 1000% sure they all got full bellies!

Then it was time for..

FIREWORKS!

We started them off with the little poppers and

the guns with the string! They all loved the little kid packages!

The guys had all the fireworks in the garage away from the little ones!

It was fun watching the little ones running around with sparklers!

Scott and Michael started to light the big ones right out in the back yard!

However.. Michael did..

Light one off the deck..

and it was kinda pretty!

Back to sparklers!

All the kids seemed to love them.. even the little kids!

We know Brittany loved them!

Scott got the dirty kids hosed off before we let them come into the house. They were full of dirt and grass from playing outside for so long!

Our neighbors headed home and we came inside for a grown up desert!

Here is the Tiramisu she made! I think she did a GREAT Job!

I loved it.. So did the guys! I didn't eat much being I was so tired but from what I did have.. it was delicious!

The kittens had a great time too! They got tons of love today!

This is the biggest firecracker in the house! He is so cute!

And he is starting to " play " hunt! Its so freaking adorable!

Everyone was gone shortly after.. I have to admit.. I wanted the house quite. I am tired as can be and had enough excitement for the day.. I took a long hot bubble bath and now I am ready for bed.. So I hope you all had a great weekend! I also hope all you guys are being safe and not drinking and driving!

Tomorrow we have more plans with the kids...Either heading to the pool or the lake.. not sure which!

Im sorry about not responding to emails yet.. I have 5 or 6 that I will get to asap!
