Hello Weekend!!!

Hello Friends!!

Well we all slept in around here. Scott called a little while ago and woke us up.. Jackson got up a couple hrs before we did but hes been laying around being lazy! I am not in any kind of hurry today. The only thing I need to do today is go to the market later to get something for dinner..I don't know if we are going to do anything when Scott gets home or not. He should only work till 4 today but there is no guarantee that he will get off work then. He might have to work over if they have customers. It looks like rain around here.. I did tell you guys that its suppose to rain everyday till next Thursday right? Its held true so far..Last night the tv went out.. then the electric went out but luckily it came back on pretty fast!

The house is not in bad shape but as I sit here and type this post .. I can see a lot of things that need to be done. Just picking up really. Again.. not in any hurry to do anything today.. I did mange to dye my hair myself last night. Its no secret that I have a lot of gray.. Thanks to that crummy DNA from dad.. He went silver around 18 or 19 years old. I just don't think I would have found the time to go sit in a Salon for hrs on end with the kids here. So I used Loreal 10 minute dye and it worked great! I didn't do anything drastic.. Just brown! And the gray is gone! =))) It took forever at the nail salon. I had to soak the hell out of my nails to get off all that powder and gel on my nails..Not to mention there was a ton of people in there too. There was a party for a bunch of 15 year olds who were all getting mani and pedi's. I think there was 9 or 10 of them! So I had to wait.. But today my hands looks right again! I wonder how many of you guys have tried a overlay on your nails? It just didn't work out for me.. Don't think I will ever do that again!

I don't know what our plans are for the weekend. I think we might be going to the lake on Sunday.. I am not sure if it will just be us or if friends are going..and it all depends on the weather too! Everyone has said its suppose to be really nice at the lake.. Its got a beach area..diving boards.. boats that you can rent..etc. Its a bit of a drive but sounds like it might be worth it. I am not always happy about swimming in a lake. I don't like anything that I cant open my eyes under water and I never like walking in the water when its a lake..Always scared I will step on something! Jackson loved the lake in Ohio..

You know what I am dreaming about today..

I wish I was back to being a kid on vacation with my grandparents. Where I would ride my bike around the camp grounds with flowers...picnics out in the grass with them.. huddled up in a motor home and enjoying not only summer but family too. That's what I miss. I think once the kids go back to their dads that Scott and I should escape for a long weekend at a bed and breakfast where we can just walk around town.. eat.. relax and have some much needed alone time. We have not had a ton of alone time.. First we go to Texas for a couple of weeks where the only alone time we had was when we were sleeping.. and really we were not too alone..we had 4 cats in the room. We love the kids more than anything..and wouldn't change anything but would like a nice quite night with just Scott too. My friend has a baby sitter and we might just employ her for a night too if need be!

I am thinking a nice long hot shower is going to be the best way to continue this day! Will chat with you guys more when I can!
