Trying to swim along....

Hi friends!

Hope you all are having a great night. Hopefully many of you guys are sound asleep..It almost 130 here. I am watching TV and blogging. But soon I need to get some rest. I have another busy day tomorrow..I need to have my butt out of bed by  11:00 ....I have to go to the dealership first thing to see Scott, then pay some bills and do some shopping. I am wanting some new plates that I am going to be going out to look for tomorrow..I have an apt at 2:30 that should only take about 30 minutes or so..I am working hard on keeping everything outlined so I don't miss anything! Lots to do in the coming days!!

Today I got the gifts for the dinner put together. I will post pictures some time tomorrow. I got everyone Easter baskets! I am going to have them sitting in their plates! Really cute!

I also got the hardwood floors cleaned..What a freaking job. I picked up everything I could on the floors. Moved as much into the kitchen as I could..I put the chairs up on table ( like they did when I was in grade school ), took all the rugs outside and started sweeping the floor...that took forever..Tons of animal care to get up..Next was mopping it. I don't know but I bend over wayyy too much for mopping..My back always hurts when I am finished. I got the dining room, living room and hallway. While the floor was drying, I went out side and shook out the rugs..another exhausting part of cleaning the floors. It takes all I have to bang those rugs around! Then it was putting stuff back, and laying those rugs back done. It took over 2 hours of my day to really clean the floors. But now they are shinny and slick! You could so easily do the Risky Business dance on these floors! =)

Today was kinda strange. I got an email from an old friend who is going through some hard times. First let me tell you what happened..My friend owned a pit bull..The dog was in a room with a sign on the door warning about the dog that said ~ Do Not Enter ~ ...My other friend was there hanging out with her child and husband. While they were doing whatever, the child opens the door and the dog bites her in the leg. Its a serious bite and the little girl has had 6 surgeries and it still looks bad. She has to have more operations too. Well..she wanted the dog put down. My other friend refused. Now they are going to court. These two girls have been running in the same circle forever and were friends. Now that's over..the families are all upset and I have been trying to be kind to them both. I feel terrible for the child..that had to be painful. And I feel sorry for the owners of the dog. They love that dog and don't think they are responsible because the dog was in a room with a sign on the door. The child is 10 ( I think ). But tonight it got ugly when the owner of the dog sent me a email saying I was two faced for being supportive of the little girl. I felt really bad. I wasn't trying in any way to upset anyone. I tried staying pretty neutral. However..I might have said things that would upset her and if I did I am sorry..My personal thoughts are..I don't like pit bulls. My father has one and I just think they are super dangerous. I will never own one and I do not want them around my children..My fathers included..Its tragic what happened to her..and I think its falls on the owners of the dog. We are all responsible for what our pets do. I am responsible for my dog and everyone else should be responsible for their own dog. While I wish they could have worked it out without going to court, they didn't. And now its a huge mess. I think its going to cost the dog owners some money but I hope its an expensive lesson. That door needs to be locked and children should really be kept away from that dog. No one wanted this to happen. I also think the parents should have had a better watch on their child. Its just fate..and both of my friends are having a hard time with it. I think if it was the other way around they would be suing too. And the my friends with the child got bit have been in a few law suits. So its no shocker that they want to be compensated for the pain of their daughter.. Honestly I am thankful it wasn't worse. I had been around this little girl a lot at point in my life and its terrible that she got hurt. No one wanted that. I have tried to be understanding to both of them. I sent them both emails today and no response back so far. I don't know what made it blow up today. I haven't discussed this issue for over a month..Lets just hope and pray they both get through this extremely hard time for them..Please them them both in your prayers.

Scott and I took off tonight and went to our friends tonight. It was nice hanging out with them. They will be here on Sunday having dinner with us! Its funny...family can sometimes be really good friends. I am excited to have them all over. I'll try to get some pictures for you guys to see!!! I love spring time and Easter. Its a fresh start.. a renewal..all fresh flowers..new little babies popping up every where, birds chirping, sunny days...I just love it!

Well..I have been talking on the phone forever tonight. I have a friend who I need to try to call back but I am ready for a shower.. So cant do it right now...Tired and just don't want to physically hold the phone right now! I love you SB..Will call you when I can! xoxo
