LAST NIGHT WE HAD ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE MEALS..

CHICKEN PARMESAN

I AM SHOWING THE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANY OF YOU WHO WANT TO TRY TO RECREATE THIS VERY VERY YUMMY MEAL!


HERE IS EVERY THING YOU NEED FOR THE CHICKEN ( OPPS..IM WRONG, I FORGOT TO ADD THE CHEESE IN THE PICTURE)


SALAD AND BREAD AREA


FIRST TAKE A LITTLE MILK AND CRACK A COUPLE OF EGGS TO HELP MOISTEN THE CHICKEN BEFORE BREADING IT..


MIX


THEN POUR YOUR BREAD CRUMBS IN SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN DREDGE YOUR CHICKEN IN. I AM USING A JAPANESE BREAD CRUMBS..THEY ARE ALL I USE..SOOOOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY BREADCRUMB..THEY ARE LIGHT AND CRISP UP BEAUTIFULLY..


THEN TAKE YOUR CHICKEN AND DIP IT IN THE EGG WASH..


AND THEN INTO THE BREAD CRUMBS..


AND REPEAT WITH ALL THE CHICKEN..

AS YOU CAN SEE ITS A LIGHT BREADING..BUT DONT WORRY WE DO IT AGAIN..
AND REMEMBER TO USE A PLASTIC BOARD FOR THE CHICKEN..THE WOOD WILL ABSORB ALL THE DANGEROUS JUICES FROM THE CHICKEN..



THEN TAKE SOME VEGETABLE OIL AND START WARMING IT UP OVER MED HEAT..


THEN RE DIP IT THE EGG


AND BACK INTO THE BREAD CRUMBS


AND REALLY PRESS THEM IN


AND NOW YOU CAN SEE HOW WELL THEY ARE COATED..


AND NOW THEY ARE READY TO COOK..


INTO THE HOT SKILLET IT GOES..BE EASY WITH IT BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT TO KNOCK AWAY THE BREADING..


AFTER A COUPLE MINUTES FLIP THEM OVER..ALL YOU ARE TRYING TO DO WITH THIS STEP IS GET SOME COLOR ON IT..


THEN ONCE THEY ARE ALL BROWNED UP, PUT THEM IN A CASSEROLE DISH AND PUT IN A 350 DEGREE OVEN TO FINISH COOKING.


WHILE THEY ARE IN THE OVEN, GET YOUR PASTA DROPPED, DRAIN AND SIT IT ASIDE..

AND START WORKING ON THE SAUCE..NOW I AM CHEATING ON THIS STEP..I AM USING A PREMADE SAUCE BUT I AM ADDING MY OWN TOUCH TO IT!


WITH A LITTLE GRATED GARLIC AND SOME ITALIAN SEASONING..


THEN AFTER ABOUT 30 - 45 MINUTES REMOVE THE CHICKEN AND ADD YOUR CHEESE..I AM USING A ITALIAN BLEND SHREDDED CHEESE..

AND POP IT BACK IN THE OVEN TO FOR A FEW MINUTES TO MELT..


THEN I BASICALLY MAKE AN ASSEMBLY LINE..


OH I FOGOT TO MENTION ONCE THE CHICKEN IS ALMOST DONE ADD YOUR GARLIC BREAD TO THE OVEN TO WARM UP AND BROWN..AND WORK ON THE SALAD..WE JUST DID A SIMPLE GARDEN SALAD..


THEN START WITH SOME PASTA


THEN THE SAUCE


AND THEN ADD THAT BEAUTIFUL CHICKEN BREAST..


CUT UP YOUR BREAD...


AND DINNER WAS SERVED...

THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD DINNER... WE ALL LOVED IT!
