SINCE IT WAS A LATE NIGHT FOR SCOTT, I MADE SOME EASY FOR DINNER...

CALIFORNIA BLTS SERVED WITH TATOR TOTS.



ALL THE INDGREDIENTS FOR A CLASSIC BLT BUT AN AVACADO MAKES IT A CALIFORNIA BLT.


I GOT A BIG LOAF OF CHABATA BREAD.. I ONLY USED 1/2 FOR US. ITS A FLAT BREAD THAT IS GREAT FOR ANY KIND OF SANDWICH. I HALFED THE LOAF. JUST SLIDE THE SERATED KNIFE BACK AND FORTH EASILY UNTIL THE BREAD TOP AND BOTTOM IS SEPERATED.


COOK THE BACON.. I LOVE USING THIS BACON PREESS BECAUSE IT HELPS KEEP THE BACON FLAT.


FOR THE AVACADO GO AROUND THE OUTSIDE WITH A SMALL KNIFE AND CUT IT IN HALF. IN THE MIDDLE THERE IS A HUGE SEED. THIS ONE CAME OUT REALLY EASY BEING THE AVACADO WAS SUPER RIPE. BUT IF YOURS IS NOT SO RIPE, JUST TAKE YOUR KNIFE HIT IT INTO THE SEED AND TWIST. THE SEED WILL COME OUT SUPER EASY. THEN TAKE A SPOON GO AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE FLESHY AVACADO AND IT WILL COME OUT IN ONE PIECE. THEN SLICE IT UP.


I ASSEMBLED THE CALIFORNIA BLT. FIRST MAYO, THEN BIBB LETTUCE, THE BACON, SOME TOMATOES THAT WERE SLICED SUPER THIN AND THEN TOPPED IT OFF WITH THE SLICED AVACADO.


PUT THE TOP ON AND YOU WILL HAVE ONE HELL OF A SANDWICH.  ITS HUGE!


I CUT THE LOAF IN HALF - ONE HALF FOR ME AND THE OTHER FOR SCOTT. I SERVED IT UP WITH CRISPY TATOR TOTS AND DINNER WAS DONE!  YUM!!!



I ALSO MADE A CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER TART. SUPER EASY AND SUPER GOOD. I DOUBT I WILL EAT ANY BECAUSE I AM PLANNING ON SENDING IT IN TO SCOTTS WORK FOR OUR FRIEND.



THE TART PAN HAS A REMOVEABLE BOTTOM. THIS TURNED OUT GREAT AND SMELLS SUPER GOOD!

SCOTT LOVED DINNER. IT WAS REALLY REALLY GOOD AND WAS SUPER SIMPLE TO MAKE!
