THE PERFECT DAY

What a beautiful day today. The sun is shinning outside, windows open, cats loving it, and for me I feel really good. I decided that today I am not doing anything I don't want to do. Period.. For the last couple of days I have felt really depleted but I slept pretty well and my energy level is back up..So its a great day.. Really what started the day off so well was after I wrote that blog about Scott last night, this morning he cuddled up to me and made me laugh and smile even more...And I hate mornings! Really he just once again showed me that love that I was talking about last night. Sometimes I cant believe this is my life. What a journey to get here. Maybe it made me better..I had plenty of obstacles but I am in a good place right now. Its almost a twisted kind of fairytale. Its funny because we talk about things like retirement, growing old, grand kids, etc.. Really never talked to anyone about that stuff before. I never believed that anyone would be around that long . But now, I feel like life is only going to get better. Its funny how things work out sometimes. I have no real plans for today.Just taking it super easy and making the most of this beautiful day. Tonight however we have a friend coming over for dinner. He comes often and has a great appetite! On the menu: chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn, and dinner rolls. A simple meal but really good. The cats have been loving the windows open.I love the picture above of them enjoying the weather! They are experiencing lots of new sights, sounds, and smells. They both have been going window to window checking everything out. I know most of you wont believe me but I took Giovnanni on a walk around the yard yesterday on a leash.. Yep, he walked like a dog on the leash.. He wasn't too fond of it at first but for the first time ever doing it, he did really well. So with a little more practice I bet he will be doing great on a leash.. Could you imagine me walking my CAT around the park? Never know!!!! I don't know what the rest of my day holds, but I do plan on doing a little work around here. I only got about 3 hours before baby gets off work but it wouldn't surprise me if he worked a little late. This month has really been good at the dealership. Business has really picked up.. LOVE IT!! But wish Scott would be home a little more. He is so anxious to get back on the golf course so with summer coming he will have plenty of activities going on. He plays baseball too. I don't mind him doing the things he enjoys and really I enjoy the golf course too. So it works out good. I still have a ton of spring cleaning to do.. I need to get all the heavy coats washed and stored away, along with all the heavy clothes..I hate that job..Really I hate any job that deals with clothes or laundry. It never seems to get caught up. But today, its not a worry for me..It can sit there till tomorrow!! Hope everyone has a great Friday. My advice would be to take sometime for yourself and enjoy the simple things.
