Eco Tools - LIMITED EDITION BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSIONS KABUKI SET REVIEW!!

Saturday, November 26, 2011
Hello friends! I am going to be talking about the ECO TOOLS LIMITED EDITION BEAUTIFUL EXPRESSIONS KABUKI SET I got yesterday in → THIS HAUL ←.

I used these a bit last night and today and I don't need to keep using them for days to get a proper review up.

Lets get started!!

I was on the hunt for these yesterday and the only place I found them is Walgreens, up high on a top shelf . Like I said in the haul, I asked for them and the girl had no idea what I was talking about. Sooooo.. I kept looking and found them!! And I was kind enough to show here what they were and where they were! But I had checked Walmart, CVS, and Rite Aid and nothing..

Thank you Walgreens!!

I think they are put in the box wrong. All of them have the angled brush under bronze and I think that's the contour brush and the contour brush is actually the bronze brush. When taking these pictures, I didn't change up the brushes.

This set cost $ 14.99 and are

Limited Edition..

So you are going to want to get these asap. I don't know how long they are going to be around. I am going back and buying at least 2 more for Christmas gifts!

Here's the product details!!

Ok.. Here are the brushes without the packaging..

And I did move them around!

Here is

The Buff Kabuki

As you can see its a flat top kabuki brush that is great for blending in any powder to your face. I have used this one in a circular motion over my face with a translucent powder and loved it.

Here is the

Conceal Round Kabuki

This is one of my favorites out of the entire set. First off, this is a great concealer brush because its small and compact allowing you to get in all the tiny areas around the nose and eyes. It also works great for foundation too. I used it today for both, foundation and concealer. LOVE IT!! Its is actually pretty firm and that is great for a foundation or concealer brush.

Here is the

Bronze Angled Kabuki Brush

This brush is great for any powder product. It works beautifully to add any powder product to your face. I think pretty much this as the others, is a multi use kind of brush!

Here is the

Contour domed Kabuki Brush

I think this brush is great for contouring. I used it today and fell in love! If you are trying to contour your nose areas you can just pinch it and it works great!

My Final Thoughts!!

These brushes are amazing!!

I do wish they came with something to store them in but I have found a way to keep they stored where nothing will get on them... Will show you guys that later. I think these brushes excellent for the price and very much worth the buy. They are super soft and since they are small, they will travel great ( if you find a good way to pack them! ) I don't like my brushes getting dirty because if they do and I use them, there is a chance they will break out your face. That's why you don't want to just toss them in your make up bag. But I am sure I will figure something out! These brushes are very versatile and you can use them in any way that suits you. I think the flat top buff kabuki would also work great for foundation too!

All these brushes are cruelty - free taklon bristles with recycled aluminum handles. As I said, they are incredibly soft and really nice brushes. I think these would make any make up lover happy and they would also make great gifts.

So get out and find them!!!

HUGE Walgreens Haul + A Few things from Walmart!!!!

Friday, November 25, 2011
As many of you guys know, I went out today...and was nervous about being among the black Friday shoppers. I was lucky that I didn't have any issues with it. I went out to all the drug stores to see what I could find. I figured all the drug store beauty items would be disorganized and nothing left. Well CVS sucked and so did Rite Aid. They barley had any beauty products a lower price than what they normally are.

Well Walgreens was the WINNER today!!

I was so happy to go in there and see all the sales!

I got a ton of stuff.. I will be doing swatches and reviews in the weeks to come but tonight I wanted to show you what I got. I only paid full price for 3 things.. the rest was on sale. I got my receipt and I will try to keep straight what everything cost but I will try!

So here is the haul in full!!

22 items total

I had to take the pictures on my dining room table because it was so big and

look at how was up in the chair at the table watching.. Isn't Gizmo cute!

So one of the items I paid full price for was

Eco Tools Limited Edition Beautiful Expressions Kabuki Set.

( I will do a full post on these tomorrow )

I also saw this adorable

Cat Ring Holder. I know this is really not a beauty item per say but it does kinda fit with beauty!

I love it.. In fact, I think I am going back to get another. One for beside my bed and one for in the kitchen when I am cooking!

The next thing I paid full price for is these

make up removers. I will do a full post and review on these tomorrow or Sunday.. I tried these the first time when my Free Target Beauty Bag came in [ see post HERE ] I am loving these right now and can't wait to tell you why!

The last item I paid full price for was this

Elf Holiday Edition in Natural Eye.

And just so you guys know I will tell the prices of the 3 above items when I review them.

But here is what I found on sale!!

First with the eyeshadows..

Ok.. With the Revlon Color Stay quad was $ 3.59 and the other 2 shadows were $ 1.10 each!!

HOW GREAT IS THAT!!

On to blush and bronzers..

The Malini Baked Bronzer was $ 4.00 and the Revlon Blush was $ 1.50.

They also had this

Cover Girl Professional Mascara for $ 2.99

Now lip items..

Ok.. I had fun with the lip products!!

The 2 Relvons on the left were 4.59 each , The Rimmels that are in the middle were $ 2.69 each and the Revlon on the end was $ 3.99. The Gloss was 3.49.

Then the nail products were calling my name!!

The deal on these polishes and strips was amazing!

The Sally Hansen polishes in the middle was $ 2.59 each

The Essie polish was $ 4.00

The Rimmel Polish was 2.99 and the last polish on the right is Sally Hansen Salon polish that cost $ 2.99.

The Salon Effects was $ 3.99

Last but not least I am going to go ahead and include what I picked up at Walmart..

Some more Conditioner, moisturizer, floss and of course, Oprah's new magazine!!

WALGREENS KICKED ASS TODAY!!

Now, I should explain to you guys, that this is a marker sale.. What I mean is all these items had those little dots on the displays of which items were on sale. So not all products from the line were these prices!! You will have to just go in to YOUR Walgreens and see what you find!!

Clearly, I found a lot and I wasn't in there till after 4 pm.

So, get there and check it out!!

I will do swatches and reviews over the weekend!!

HAPPY HAPPY!!

Friday, October 28, 2011
Hello!

Hope you all had a great Thursday..

Sorry for the lack of post today..I stayed pretty busy.. and once Scott got home..we had a little time together before he went to bed.. I did get the marriage post up. it was late.. around 11 pm my time.. and if you haven't checked it out yet.. you can click { HERE } to get to it. Now remember.. its not just for married couples.. it really applies to anyone in a relationship.. Not all post are going to be post about fighting.. but that's what came to mind tonight.. I already know what's next week's post is going to be about.. I also asked a guest speaker to write a post.. and I am hoping she will!! If she does, I will post it first!

Ok.. here is some of my day!!

I woke up to a few boxes on the porch.. and one of them was..

this box to Scott from my mom!! It was what she got him in Scotland!!

He was having kinda a crappy day at work so I got cleaned up.. loaded the box int the car and headed to the dealership!

Here he is opening it!!

Here is Scott and the other Scott checking it out..

Here is what she got him!

First off.. Not only I, but mom too loves the round box that it came in.. I love it.. I am thinking it would work great to put make up brushes in! Anyway, its..

some really old Scotch that you can only get in Scotland.

Here's the top..

There it is..

I don't know much about Scotch but I am pretty sure this is a really good one!

I don't know what any of this means!! But of course baby..

broke that seal and had some! Thank you mom from both Scott and me!! Thank you for thinking of him! Love you.. ♥

Back to my day..

I went and did some shopping and I picked up..

A new kitty toy.. Doesn't Swagger look sweet next to his new toy! Its really for all the kittys but he sure thought it was just his..

Here it is..

Kinda neat!

Willow was first to get at it..

But it wasn't long till..

Swagger was playing!

Gosh.. I love watching him!!

He was playing with every toy on it!

He just played and played!!

The others played too.. but the camera was put away at that point.. but I will get pictures of them too!

Also today, I headed into CVS...

First place I headed was..

The coupon scanner..

I waited..

Got my coupons.. and here is what I got..

I found this great deal on Maybelline Lash Stiletoo Mascara that is with Maybelline Unstoppable eyeliner.. I love finding little values like this! And I love this mascara! So big bonus!!

I also picked up some more fakes lashes and glue..

And I got..

Another Eco Tools Angled Eyeliner Brush.. # 1204..

I got all items from CVS for under $7.00.. Why?? The CVS Coupons and Extra Bucks!!

So many of you have asked me how.. Well.. I buy as much as I can from CVS.. anytime I need just a quick item.. like paper towels.. or toothpaste.. I go to CVS.. I also get all my and my husbands prescriptions filled there.. all helping with the extra care bucks! So I get all kinds of beauty items for very little money!

Besides that.. tonight was not too eventful. I am sorry to anyone who called that I didn't answer.. My phone was on vibrate and I didn't even notice.. I got busy watching tv and playing with the kittens.. and didn't really pay attention for a while.. Scott's phone was dead.. so sorry!! I know my mom was getting worried and after I did finally check my phone and call her back.. said she was soon going to call the police if we didn't answer soon! I think she was thinking maybe with that Scotch .. we got drunk and got fighting! Ha!! Nope! But.. so sorry to everyone this caused any concern to!

Well its almost 2 am here.. I need to get to bed soon..I am feeling really tired and need sleep!
I have to do some shopping and pay some bills tomorrow so its going to be a busy day..

Sweet Dreams!

Have a great Friday!!!!!
