Wednesday Hodgepodge!

Wednesday, March 8, 2017

Hi friends! Happy Wednesday to you all. I am back today sharing another Wednesday Hodgepodge. I have been participating off and on since 2013. Wow that's a long time! Feel free to join in!

1. What is one area of your life where you're a perfectionist? Is that a good thing?

I am not sure I am a perfectionist in any kind of way. I use to really try in every single kind of way to get things right in a perfectionist kind of way. But then I got older and realized most of that stuff really didn't matter. It didn't matter how many hours I spent cleaning the house to be perfect because it was never going to be perfect. And spending time with my family and friends was and is more important. So I would just say I am a perfectionist in living. I am just trying to get through day by day and make as many good memories as I can.

2. What's something you find perfectly ridiculous?

Should I say more!? Well I think I actually will.  I know it's not polite to talk politics as much as I do but this joker has and continues to be perfectly ridiculous in every kind of way.

The presidency is being lowered, diminished, and undermined by idiot. I just don't get it.

3. What's a skill you've developed by way of that old fashioned saying, 'practice makes perfect?

Cooking and baking for sure! I was in the kitchen from a young age but I really didn't start getting good at it until I was old enough to cook on my own. Pratcing my knife skills made all the difference as well!

4. What's your idea of a perfect breakfast?

Coffee. Well really I enjoy a lot of different things for breakfast but one of my absolute favorites is...

and...

and...

5. What's a trip, holiday, vacation, or day outing you've taken that you'd rate a perfect 10? Tell us why.

For sure my 2015 trip with Brittany to Biltmore. I mean its such a wonderful place. It's the first vacation we took alone without any boys. We were on our own schedule. We were making memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It meant more to me than any of my other trips. If you want to see more....just click here!

6. What quote or saying perfectly sums up your life right now? If you can't do perfect, how about one that comes close?

7. How would you spend $300 today?

I would spend some on myself with a little shopping for clothes. We have a vacation coming up and I would get a little more ready for that. I would probably pay a bill...and spend the rest on the kids and my family.

8.  Insert your own random thought here

Gosh it's been so long since I have participated in the Wednesday Hodgepodge. So much has happened. I split up from my husband. Started to get on my on my feet without him only for him to die a couple of months later. It's been insaine. So many different thoughts and emotions. I have a new/old boyfriend back in my life. He was actually the man I was with before Scott. He has been slowly been bringing me back to life. I am now working after being a stay at home wife and mother for 13 years. Life is sure different but I am doing my best to rebuild my life and become stronger. Not only for myself but my kids too. ( sorry for all that but I watched to just get it out there) I feel so blessed to be supported within the blogging and youtube community. Many have lifted my heart on hard days and supported our family in every kind of way. I am am truly blessed even in these changing times. I can't wait to come visit some of you're posts today! Happy Wednesday. I hope to join in next week as well...and hopefully it will not be so heavy! Thanks for visiting. Leave a comment and let me know how you are doing! xx
