Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday. As many of you know... I post a week in review recapping what happened over the week & weekend. Its something that I have been doing off and on for years. Its just a simple way to give you guys a glimpse into our weekend. I also vlogged a little each day which you can see in the video below. I have been trying to move all my video's to my main channel including the vlogs but for right now I am uploading them to both channels. I think that is the best way to do it right now but eventually they will probably all move to my housewife life main youtube channel. I hope you don't mind but I have been trying to figure out a way to make everyone happy. I don't expect you to watch them twice but now you will be able to find my vlogs on both channels. ↓Here it is↓ Hope you enjoy! More pictures and info below!
This Past Week,
I didn't take a ton of pictures last week. It just happened to work out like because I filmed a lot. At the beginning of the week, I got some beautiful roses in the mail to review....but there's twist.. more flowers will be here on Wednesday and I will explain everything. But I must say...having such a big arrangement of flowers in the house sure makes me happy. I just love them so much and I have never been one to think that fresh flowers are a waste of money. I know they don't last forever but the smell and the beauty make up for it.
Scott is back to work thank goodness. I know the time home was good for him but having him here all day long everyday presented its own set of challenges. He's not exactly doing what I think he should be doing but he's the one working so its his pick. He hates being in a office covered in paperwork so he is on the sales floor training and taking care of the salesmen. He likes it much better and I hope its easier on him. And it has sure been easier on me too with having the house back to myself. He went into a new dealership his first week during a huge super sale. So on top of going to a new job, he has had insane hours. I think he is also searching for some kind of normality too. Hopefully before the end of this week, the sale will be over and he can settle in a little more.
Here in South Carolina the weather has been wet and kinda cold. We are moving right into the heart of fall with winter right around the corner. The heavier the rain, strong winds are slowly taking away the leaves from the trees and its also taking away all the warm weather we have been having. This time of year is the perfect time to pull out my rain boot collection. I am still using the fireplace for heat but before we know it.....winter will be here. I really do think we are going to have a very cold winter. Call me crazy but remember what I am saying. Summer was short in my book, fall came a little early which all points to cold weather on the way. Right now it's cold in our house and I don't want to turn on the heat and I don't want to make a fire! So I guess I will just add a sweater and go on with the day. Hopefully when I start cleaning the house up in my weekly cleaning today....I will warm up.

So for the many of you who are still sending in heartfelt emails and leaving sweet comments on my videos, thank you. I so appreciate your kindness and support. Everyday I am trying to grow into a better person, feed my soul what it needs and learn to let go to let life happen. I am a schedule oriented person but life doesn't always happen according to my own person plans. So instead of freaking out...I am trying to embrace it. Embrace the mystery of the day and let things happen according to their own schedule. I have tried to force life to happen the way I want it and then surprised and shocked when it doesn't work out the way I wanted. I am so far from perfection and I still have so many lessons but life is getting easier without me fighting against it all the time. It simply one day to the other with as much grace as possible. Thank you all for being so caring and supportive. I love you guys.

- Meditate every morning for at least 15 minutes no matter what is going on.
- Give Cooper a good oatmeal bath to help his very dry skin.
- Start weather proofing the back deck and get plants taken care of before the first frost.
- Send out thank you emails....I prefer handwritten notes but with how far behind I am, emails will just have to work for now. What ever it takes to catch up.
- Do something to spoil both Scott & Jackson this week just to remind them how much they are loved
- Start hunting for a karate class for Jackson to join in. He needs to make more friends and he could use some discipline. Plus is the perfect winter activity to keep him busy.
- Go get nails done sometime this week..NOTE TO SELF: Skip the gel polish next time. The shit just wouldn't come off. Yea...no thanks.
- Still need to schedule our flu shots. Hopefully I can make that phone call this week. We for sure need to get Jacksons asap.
- Confirm we are going on the cruise with my mom today.....she should be very happy. :)
- Update Pinterest with latest videos.
- Meal prep for some of our dinners this week...stay tuned for a video coming up soon!
- Put up laundry.....ha! Story of my life!
- Do a quick pickup on the pantry to make things easier to find.
- Get beef stew in the oven early enough today. Thank goodness I remembered get it out to thaw last night. I was going to put it in the crockpot but with the chilly weather, the oven will warm it up in here.
- Make time to wipe down all the leather furniture this week.
Here's some inspiration to take along with you this week:
