Today's Sunday Inspiration is simply a prayer.
Dear God,
Thank you for giving me a family that cares about me and loves me. Even
though we rarely agree, arguing about the silliest of issues, we still know in the back of our minds
that we’re lucky to have each other.
We might not say it face to face but I know with your help, we can get through
anything. I struggle most of the time trying to make the right decisions with
my husband and kids. Life is not always easy and we have our challenges but I
am trying to learn as I go. Even on the days when I feel my worst my kids still
look at me like I am super mom. I know that is because of your blessings. You
gave me the most amazing kids....they teach me more about myself everyday. I love watching them
grow up and seeing them come into their own people. We all know how much we
mean and love to each other and there is nothing that can change that. I need
you to help me learn to be a better listener and not fight back in tough
situations. I need to try to forgive more and try harder to be the wife and
mother you want me to be. I pray from here on out I use restraint when tested.
I ask you to fill my husband I with a passion for life, passion for love and intimacy, and passion to press through
the hard times. I pray that you give us the strength to endure the most difficult
of times. I pray that you fill my kids up with compassion and love and I pray
you continue to bless our family and help us thrive in our family despite our
differences. Surround us with the white light of the holy spirit, guard and protect us.
