Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Thursday. I am back with this week's Thankful Thursday Post. We all should take some time to reflect on what we are really thankful for. Rather it's in a blog post or private diary, it doesn't matter. It just helps you not take things for granted and also helps bring out happiness from sometimes the most simplest of moments. Hope you enjoy. Today I am thankful for:
♥ Brittany getting off to her first day of school. I can't believe summer is basically over for the kids. I am just thankful that she was prepared and ready this morning to start the new 2014-2015 school year.
♥ The rain this morning. We had a lot of rain last week and I quickly grew tired of it but I am thankful its coming down right now.....Peaceful start to my day.
♥ I didn't blow my temper last night with my husband. God knows I wanted to but I just did my best to shake things off and not argue.
♥ I finally deleted most people off my personal facebook account. I use to treat it like some kind of social club where anyone and everyone could follow me. Half of those people, I had no memory of. I felt it was time for a change....anyone is welcome to follow my fb fan page but you will basically need a golden ticket to be friends with me on my personal page. That's over. Plus my stalker friend was following me on there and I just couldn't stand the idea of that. It was simply time to clean house. If we are still friends on fb, there is a reason. I either have a true actual memory of you and or care about you and I am thankful for the memories I have of you.
♥ For all the evening conversations I have been having with my sister. She is growing up and everyday I learn something new about her.
♥ For warm comfy socks and sweaters. Even though its been summer, the week of rain and the rain today is cooling things off a lot. In fact, I actually slept in cozy socks. I have on cozy socks and a cozy sweater on right now and I thankful for them keeping me warm. Turning of the air also helped!
♥ For Romeo. God, I am really thankful for that kitty cat. I am thankful that he is so laid back, loving and such a lovey cuddle bug. Last night he was the sweetest thing in my bed!
♥ I am thankful for the love and support of my best friend Shanna. She has probably listened to me bitch and complain for YEARS and is still simply the best friend I have. She is amazing and I am thankful for all the love, support, and direct words ( when needed ) and I hope I can be half the friend to her as she has been to me.
♥ My mom and I worked through a emotional situation with grace. Life is still complicated at times with my parents but this time we worked through everything without too many emotions. There is no one on the planet that will stand between my mom and myself. I am thankful for every moment I have with her.
♥ I have managed to stay awake to the end of my prayers. A lot of times I fall asleep while praying but here lately I have been awake long enough to actually finish. Thank you God for listening.
♥ I am thankful Jackson is coming home this weekend. He will be upset on Sunday. He is always very emotional coming or going but its time to get going with the new school year. Its crazy Brittany starts 18 days before him but we still have a lot to do to get ready.
