If you want to see my thoughts and reactions to last month and this months Ipsy Bag, enjoy the video. Also there are more pictures and information where you can find the products discussed, below.
Here's what came in my April Ipsy Bag:
Last month I had 5 products that were all items I really liked. Here's a quick overview of what I got! :)
* Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Skin Exfoliant : This is suppose to gently sweep away dead skin cells and softens skin texture, which enables better absorption of skincare products and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines, acne marks, and skin discolorations. I love a good exfoliant and so far I have really liked it.
* Urban Decay24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil : This is an ultra-plush version of UD’s creamy, waterproof 24/7 formula. I got one in black that I really really like. I already have a couple of these pencils and they are so smooth and creamy. You don't tug your eyes at all applying this liner.
* pop! goes the shadow - The Elizabeth Mott pop! goes the eyeshadow is the ultimate eyeshadow that's long lasting, easy to apply, and effortlessly blends. I got the champagne color which I have really been enjoying as a highlighter.
* Starlooks' Luscious, Longwear, Matte Lip Liner - Nude - This formula contains a Kiss-Off Resistant polymer that, when worn alone or in combination with a matte lipstick, offers an incredible 8 hour wear. I really like this pencil. Its not too drying and wears really nice.
* The Coastal Scents Shadow Brush This is medium sized brush made out of natural fibers that is wide in shape and condensed to allow an even distribution of eyeshadow on the lid. This worked really nicely for me and is in fact my first Coastal Scents Makeup brush. So far so good!
* The bag itself was mesh with a little record player on it. Its cute but not so much my taste. However, it will work for something in my life!
Here's what came in my May Ipsy Bag!
* Avène Thermal Spring Water Avène Thermal Spring Water is a unique composition is proven to soothe inflammation, itching, redness, general sensitivity and post-medical and aesthetic procedure irritation as it softens, protects and purifies the skin. Avène Thermal Spring Water is recommended by dermatologists worldwide. - I already think I am in love with this and I have only used this once!
* Pur~lissepur~moist hydra balance moisturizer Glides on like a gel and hydrates like a cream and never greasy. Hydates your skin to create a perfect canvas for makeup application. Dries down to a healthy glow...I am for sure going to test this out see if it works good for my dry skin or not.
* Pacifica Mineral Eyeshadow Duo This is a coconut infused mineral eye shadow in a beautiful purple tone with a sparkly highlighter color. Both are very pretty and should work well for a soft smokey eye.
* Hang Ten Classic Sport SPF50 This sunscreen provides maximum water resistance and full body coverage against harmful UVA/UVB rays. It will be nice testing this out over the warmer months and Scott might like this for the golf course too.
* Olive Natural Beauty The Olive Lip Balm - This balm calm in Refreshing Rosemary which smells natural and better than expected. This is an organic lip balm that is suppose to protect and heal your lips natually. I don't wear a lot of lip balm but I might try this one out because it smells so good!
* The bag itself is more natural which I like a lot more than Aprils Bag. Its super nice and I am sure I will use it for something!
I will be back next month with my mini reviews on the May bag as well as a look at June’s products. I’d love to know what you got in your May Ipsy bag if you are a subscriber as too!
