Eggs in a Cloud Recipe - VIDEO -

Tuesday, May 20, 2014

Hello friends! I am here with such a good recipe that its sure to be a hit in your family too! Eggs in a Cloud.  These little puffy eggs are so good and have been a hit in our family for a long time. I found the recipe in a magazine years ago and have been making them every since! And they are soooooo easy to make that anyone could follow the steps and make these anytime. Everything you need to know is in the video and as always... more pictures and info below!

These are so easy to make. Here's the recipe.

Ingredients
4 eggs
1/4 cup grated pecorino-romano cheese
1/4 cup dry or fresh chopped chives
1/4 cup crumbled bacon
Salt & Pepper
Directions:

Separate eggs, putting whites in 1 large bowl and yolks in 4 separate small bowls. Whip whites until stiff peaks form. Fold in cheese, chives and bacon. Spoon into 4 mounds on parchment-lined baking sheet; make a deep well in center of each. Bake at 450 degrees for 3 minutes, then and 1 yolk to each well; season with salt and pepper. Bake until yolks are just set, 2 to 3 minutes.
Enjoy!
These are so good. Just remember that the yolk is going to look soft every time but I have over cooked these before. BUT... in my opinion they are just as good with a cooked yolk too. When they are over cooked a bit, you can totally pick them up and eat it with your hands.
My son loooooves the fluffy egg whites which are filled with bacon and cheese.  Please let me know if you try this recipe and tell me what you think about it!
If you want to find me buzzing around online, here's where to go! :)
