1. April showers bring May flowers, or so the saying goes. When did you last 'shower' attention on someone or have attention 'showered' on you? Did you love it, or did all that attention make you squirm?
I know it will sound strange but I am not the girl who wants to be really noticed. I like blending in and I die inside when my husband shouts my name in public or lets me out at the door and everyone looks. Yea.. don't like that at all! But here lately, I have been showered a lot of attention from my husband. First the car wreck, and then our anniversary. He has been nothing but a big love here lately and that doesn't bother me so much!
2. Share a favorite 'spring break' memory. Not talking about just the 'college spring break' thing, but any favorite spring break memory you'd like to share. Keep it family friendly please!
I am 38 and spring breaks are so different now. I just enjoy spending the time with the kids around the house just taking a break from the school year. We like to get in a couple picnics or just some nice walks but nothing wild or crazy!

I would have to say my grandma pecan pie is the BEST EVER!

Of course, it had to be PURPLE RAIN by Prince. Who doesn't love Prince!?
However, trying to find this video on youtube and he has banned them from having any of his music there so I had to go elsewhere. Thanks for being a pain in the ass Prince!
7. What does the word hope mean to you?
Ok. this is not going to be the nicest but I have a cousin who I really can't stand named HOPE. Yea. guess what I think of every time I see that word is all the problems she caused my family over many years. However, I am doing my best to move that past that by just eliminating her from my life. But its hard to feel happy and joyful when seeing that word. I go with the word faith instead of hope....EVERY TIME.

You know, I have been struggling. I got into a car wreck that has left me beat up and broken. That alone has been hard not only on me but on my family who is helping take care of me. And then I find out all about the dark side of blogging and youtubing. Did you guys know there are websites dedicated to hating on us? Well I have been speaking up a lot to them and its not helping. They truly don't care. They are so low down that they even talked about the kids. Last night I was telling my husband that part of me just wants to fight. I want to stick up for us.. defend us. I am angry and really just want to lash out at them. Another part of me feels sorry for them being such unhappy people. I want to make them like us. I really do. We are freaking nice funny people. :) Anyway, I asked Scott what side would win?? The side of me that wants to be vengeful and mean right back?? Or the side where I keep trying to be forgiving and just ignore it. He told me that which ever one I feed will be the one that will win. I think these bottom dwellers will always hate us and I just have to ignore it but trying to not feed into it is the hardest ever. If I stir the pot, it gets worse. If I don't, it gets worse. I am not going anywhere.. I enjoy blogging, making youtube videos and vlogging. You would think if they didn't like it, they wouldn't come around and watch. Not the case. I guess you can't please everyone. Its been a hard couple weeks but I am going to push away all the negative shit and move on with our lives. Praying for the strength to NOT FIGHT BACK.

I really do not understand these people who dedicate literal hours to reading stuff they hate, and then talking about it, and just being plain nasty. The Internet is a huge place. If you don't like something, why hang around. They are the lowest kind of low. Seriously, read a blog, just so you can write a blog to say why you hate what you read? My advice is just don't go to those spots. Haters gonna hate : )
