Weekend in Review March 21- March24, 2014 w/ Videos & Vlogs

Hello friends! I hope you are having a wonderful Monday. I am getting a slow start to the day but whatever. I am not even going to fight it. Right now its about 1230 pm and I still have 7.5 hours before hubsy gets home. I should have plenty of time to get everything done. So sitting on the couch with a hot cup of coffee and CNN doesn't make me feel guilty one bit. Plus it was hard to fall asleep last night so I didn't drag my ass out of bed this morning until after 10am. Like I said... its Monday! 

So this weekend I had a moment of sorts. Last week, I was on my blog tracker sight and saw people coming from some weird place and of course, I clicked on it. And to my surprise and shock I was on a website that was dedicated to hating on bloggers and youtubers. This is pretty new to me. Most people who want to leave a rude comment or has something nasty to say has sent me emails or left a comment here or on one of my youtube channels and I just deleted it. Now I realize there are websites dedicated to trashing us ( bloggers & YTubers ) and once I started reading, my heart was shocked and it kinda knocked me off my feet. I have to admit for just a few minutes my confidence in basically everything was shattered. I ended up taking a long bath and kinda hid within myself. I think what bothered me the most is the shit they made up. Friday Morning I got up and got busy around the house. I cleaned a lot, stayed busy trying to keep things off my mind. It kinda worked but all day I thought about it and ended up talking about it in a vlog ( see below ).  Then something happened and I decided that I would not let this take up anymore of my time. Saturday morning I had a new problem to deal with. My little Jackson had my credit card saved in the xbox and ended up charging up over $60 in games. Thank God I checked my card transactions and realized what was going on. He knew and admitted he was using my bank account to fund all his map packs ( ? ) and games but thought it was the family money. YEA RIGHT. His ass is grounded! And he has to pay me back! However, I took off and got some lunch for us and then did some shopping. I did my best to shake everything off but I decided for just a day or two I would put the camera down and really think about things. 

It wasn't life shattering but honestly I was getting hung up on them. So I thought I would leave a message saying I was taking a day or two off and just move on. Plus it was my birthday weekend and I sure didn't want something spoiling it. Sunday night at 12am Scott comes to tell me happy birthday and then in the morning I woke up to both Scott and Jackson signing happy birthday with with cake and candles. That's how I woke up. It was really sweet and I will never forget it. I don't think they have ever done that before and it started off my birthday in a very special way. ♥ After opening gifts and taking birthday calls we headed out to Cracker Barrel for brunch. I didn't want a big dinner. Instead I wanted something good and easy. It was a lovely brunch and even a lovelier birthday. I came home and rested for a bit and while Kentucky played, I headed out to the store to do our shopping. I even got a beautiful new orchid. What I really want to say more than anything about this weekend is Thank you. Thank you for all the birthday wishes all over social media and more importantly thank you for all the comments on the mean website. I am not a huge youtuber. I am just starting out and growing and you all commented with such inspiring and uplifting words. I was in total shock seeing so many of you comment letting me know that you still will watch me and even people who never commented before took time to leave me a comment. I cannot express how thoughtful you guys are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will respond..but it might take a couple of days before I get to all of them. But I read them and you guys totally lifted me up and made me feel a lot better. I am not going to stop blogging or making youtube videos. And I am never going back to that website. I'll be dammed if I am going to give that site my views. And since its a snarky hate website, there won't be anyone saying anything nice anyway and I just don't want that energy. No thank you. So moving on.. 

I did a little spring cleaning with my handbag ... and I bet your purse could use a cleaning out too.. Have a look because I have some good tips to spring clean your purse. 

I also shared my go to breakfast recipe. Its super easy and delicious for any morning of the week. 

Sunday I went and did a little shopping. Its normal for us to do our weekly shopping on Sundays just to make sure we have everything we need. I hate hate hate being unprepared. 

Vlogs:

Friday I stayed really busy and actually responded to the trolls. Like I already mentioned... thank you for all your sweet and uplifting comments. 

Saturday I didn't vlog much.  :(

And Sunday I didn't really vlog much either but I did film just a little.. hope you enjoy. 

•  Get my butt up and get weekly cleaning done today. 
• Work on editing Videos
• Give kitty cats a good brush out. 
• Finish closet upkeep and film. 
• Work in planner... lots of summer dates starting to pop up. 
• Scott and I have our anniversary coming up in a couple of weeks and I have no idea what our plans are.. gotta figure that out. 
• Call Vet and set up shot appointments for all the animals. $$$$
• Finish Birthday shopping at Old Navy and Ulta and film haul
• Update the chalkboard wall
• Possibly start sorting out the garage....so much shit to throw away. 
• Get Birthday cards for April birthdays. 
• Have Scott get the car cleaned up at work

Today on CNN they announced that they found something orange in the ocean but they won't tell us what. Then they make the announcement that they believe the plane went down into the ocean, and there are no survivors. I think many of us knew this already but those family members were holding on to hope. Its really sad. I hope if you are reading this you will say a prayer for the people on that plane and the people left behind heartbroken. I didn't know one person on that plane but I can seriously feel the emotion going on with this. Its horrible and I just hope they get that plane out of the water and somehow the families began to heal.
