Wednesday Hodgepodge!

Happy Wednesday Friends! It's time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce from over at From This Side of the Pond ....this is always such a fun linkup.. join in anytime! Hope you enjoy!

garden

1.  Thursday marks the first day of spring...to celebrate would you rather plant a garden or go for a walk in the woods? Would either of those activities be possible on Thursday where you live?

Both would very possible where I live but I think I would have to pick the garden. There is just something special about planting a seed and watching your food or your fresh flowers grow. Garden for sure!

2. When did someone last spring something on you? (or when did you last spring something on someone?)

I have kids so they spring something on me everyday!

3.  We often think of spring as a time for new beginnings. What's something you'd like to start doing this spring?

I would like to start to sleep better by getting to bed sooner than later and maybe cut some of my sugar out of my diet.

4. Where do you like to sit in a movie theater? When did you last sit there, and what were you watching?

Gosh.. I shouldn't say this but I almost have a panic attack at the movies. After the shooting I am always watching the exit signs when I should be focused on the movie we just paid for. So really I don't like sitting anywhere in the movie theater. I would have to pick on demand at home. However, if I do go with Scott and Jackson, we usually sit in the middle close a few rows up.

5. When you meet someone for the very first time, what do you want them to think about you?

I want them to make their own ideas about who I am. I don't really want them to think anything in particular. I just want them to be kind and think about me and my life with an open heart. Of course I want people to think I am kind, giving, forgiving, but I don't really worry about pleasing others as much anymore. Take me as I am or go away.

6. March is frozen food month (yes, really!). Besides ice cream (gotta make you think a little) what's your most often purchased frozen food item?

Jackson loves Eggo waffles so we end up buying a lot of them!

7. What's something you avoid?

Court of any kind, strange dogs, liars, heavy traffic, and solicitors are just a few!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Its another cool day around here. I love all the spring questions but where is the spring weather!? I think we all need a little more sunshine in the US right now. Its been so hard this winter and normally upbeat people I know who love winter are really starting to fizzle out. We all need a fresh start.. fresh weather.. and no snow! Scott is braving the cold weather today and is at the Country Club playing golf on his off day with his friends. I am sure he is going to come home cold, tired, and probably wet. I wouldn't do that on this cold day for anything but glad he is having fun. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! I'll be back a little later!

  1. My hubby is a big golfer, too, and no bad weather is going to keep him from getting in a round or two...he's played in it all!

  3. Hey - We answered #2 pretty much the same way! And we also do Eggos around here quite a lot - my kids are fans of the ones that become 4 mini cinnamon French Toasts :) - Louise

  4. Golf! Wow-good for him! We still have quite a bit of snow on our course so no golf yet. It is supposed to be a little warmer this week, and rain so that should help melt the snow mountains a bit. Solicitors is a good answer. I love my caller id : )

  7. We are certainly not getting any golf here yet unless you play with orange balls with GPS systems built into them.
