Wednesday Hodgepodge

Happy Wednesday Friends! I know its the first of the year but its time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce from over at From This Side of the Pond ....this is always such a fun linkup.. join in anytime! Hope you enjoy

1. It was decided on Sunday the Denver Broncos will meet the Seattle Seahawks in this year's  Superbowl. So when was the last time you bowled? Not where you thought this question was going is it?  Do you like to bowl? Are you any good? 

Its been about a year since I bowled. I am actually pretty good at it. I hated it when I was younger but now I don't mind going and kicking the kids butts! Husby normally gives me a run for my money though!

2.   Should sports stars be role models? 

I don't think so but they are. I think they are just people.. and they all have their faults. I think the biggest role models should be your family not some sports star whom you will probably never meet. 

3. January is National Oatmeal month...are you a fan? How do you like your oats?



I love oatmeal. I fix it a ton of different ways but I love dried fruit in it. Sooooo yummy!

4. What is one book on your reading list for 2014?

Nothing at the moment... any suggestions!?

5. What would you like your future self to say to your present self?

Dear Kisha, 
I sit here in the future watching you and here is what I would like to say.. 

• You still have to do better with controlling what comes out of your mouth and controlling your temper. 
• I am proud of you for putting down those cigarettes. Each time you smoke one, you are taking time from your kids with your health. 
• I am proud of the way you and Scott have grown as a couple. 
• Love your new car.. buckle up!
• You knew the time would pass fast with the kids...told you.. look how big they are getting! 

6. When scrolling through the TV guide, what is one movie title that makes you want to stop, grab the popcorn, and watch for a while?

Just one!? There are so many I don't even know where to start. Of course I like time period movies so I would love Pride and Prejudice and Marie Antoinette. But current movies... I would have to say the Captain Phillips movie I watched the other night would be one too. 

7. What are two style trends you hope never come back into fashion?



Spandex bike shorts and 80's makeup! I think both should go away for good!

Husby is home today which messes up the entire weekly/daily routine. :) Its ok though.. I just plan on taking it easy. I got my new Erin Condren Calendar a few days ago which was so exciting! I am going to film a open box video in just a bit so we can open it together!! Stay tuned!
