I paid for the product myself and this review is my own thoughts! If you have been reading this blog for a while, you know how much I love Method Dish Soap. I even did a review a while back on the Method Sea Minerals Dish Soap professing my love for it. Well, I have found another one that I am totally loving! Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Geranium Liquid Dish Soap.

First off, I think if you were to go over to the Mrs. Meyers Website and learn about how this brand got started you would be amazed. She was a homemaker in Iowa who had 9 children. Her daughter started this line and named it after her mother. How amazing is that!? There are even videos on the website that explains it all!
But what stood out to me was the label:
"Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day® provides hard-working, naturally occurring ingredients and essential oils that are tough on dirt and grime, yet gentle on your home & the earth."
That sounds pretty doesn't it? I started looking further and realized that the majority of the ingredients were derived from plant sources, including the use of actual essential oils to scent the product. It does contain a preservative but that's normal and needed for household products. But it has 97% Natural Ingredients, which would also be great for people with sensitive skin.
Now on to the scent. I can't handle really strong scents due to my migraines but I kinda opened this at the store and got a good smell. It is so nice. It truly is like having a flower garden in the kitchen. The scent quickly wears off after.
As for the actual cleaning power of this dish soap... it worked great. Its formulated to be tough on grease and worked well on some of my most stubborn dishes. We have a busy house and between my husband and the kids, there are always always dishes in the sink. I think this cleaned really nice. The grease comes off with no problems and the rinse clean with no streaks.
I also love the simple packaging and label. The bottle is - simple and clean - . The label is pretty nice too. There is tons of information on it which is pretty remedial but I still think its cute!

I really think this is one of the best kitchen dish soaps I have ever used. Do I think it's better than Method? I am honestly not sure yet but I sure do like it. I know that $4.99 can be a bit pricey for a kitchen soap but remember its concentrated and doesn't take as much. Plus its safe. Its a natural product which is worth paying a little bit more for. This is to be used for dishes you cook in and eat out of so it is pretty important to find one that is super safe our family. I plan on trying LOTS more from this line of natural products so check back for more reviews!
This is a wonderful smelling hard working dish soap...hands down its the best smelling dish soap that has even been at my kitchen sink. Its like a English Garden. I cant wait to try out some of the other scents and different products.
