Wednesday Hodgepodge!

Happy Wednesday Friends! Time for another Wednesday Hodgepodge with Joyce from over at From This Side of the Pond ....this is always such a fun linkup.. join in anytime! Hope you enjoy.

First..Happy Happy Birthday Joyce! You also share this special day with my 19 year old nephew! So happy birthday Brandon too! It has been great getting to know you this year from your link up! My sister in law Trina found your link up many months ago and it has become one of my favorite link ups of the week! I hope you have a wonderful birthday!

Now on to the questions..

1. When did you last sing happy birthday to someone? When were you last sung to? Does that embarrass you or do you enjoy being the center of attention on your special day?

No one around here really wants me to sing! Ha! But I guess the last time I sung Happy Birthday would be for Brittany and Jackson birthdays. I pretty much only sing for the kids so I am guessing that's the last time I sung it. I do not like being sung to out in public. Its bad enough if anyone other than the kids sing it to me but I just shrink at the thought of that happening out in public!

2. Name a famous or 'infamous' person who shares your birth month and day. Is that someone you'd like to meet in person if it were possible?

Well I have a old friend who shares my birthday. Ben.. and hes a cutie. I think Ia m about 10-12 years older than him but we both have March 23rd Birthdays! We also share our birthdays with Keri Russell, Princess Eugine, and the late Joan Crawford. And I would love to meet Keri Russell so I could tell her that she totally kicks ass on the Americans and it would fun meeting Princess Eugine.

3. Someone hands you a box tied up in a lovely bow...what are you hoping to find inside?

Jewelry
New Laptop
Any kind of personal planner
Plane Tickets for a nice vacation!

4. What is something you can guarantee about yourself?

I will always...always have a cat in my house. Just look at these cuddle bugs! → →

5. Talking about art and beautiful cities here...'The Last Supper' in the Santa Maria della Grazie Abbey in Milan, Italy or 'The Mona Lisa' in the Louvre, Paris...which would you most like to see up close and in person?  Why?

The Mona Lisa would be my pick. My family had this huge painting of the last supper hanging in the kitchen all my life. It hung there until both of them passed away and now its in my dads house. So I got to look at that picture a bunch throughout the years.

6. Your favorite dessert?

Can I just say ALL!? My real favorite would have to be some kind of gooey chocolate cake with moose.

7. This coming weekend marks the official start of autumn (in the northern hemisphere)...what is something you do to get ready for fall?  What is one thing you're looking forward to on your fall calendar?  Spring or fall-which do you prefer?

I like all seasons in the beginning but as they wear on.. I am always ready for a change. For fall I prepare a lot of things.. I get the firewood ready, wash all the sweaters, jackets and coats, clean the garage because I never do that job in the winter. NEVER. and I decorate to celebrate the new season.

8.  Insert your own random thought here.

I got all my errands done today and was home by 11:15....which is great. Guess it was worth staying up this morning and just doing it. Now I have the rest of the day to do what I want. Jackson didn't feel good this morning but I really think he could have went to school. I think he was sleepy and didn't want to get up. I believe him about the sore throat because I woke up with one too. I probably had the air down too low for such a cool night. He's going to school tomorrow unless he is running a fever. I hope you guys are having a wonderful day!

xoxo

  3. Thank you for the birthday wishes : ) I'm not a singer either, but everyone needs to be sung to on their birthday, so my family knows I'm gonna sing. Cute kittens!
