{ Crockpot Week! } Crockpot Honey Sesame Chicken Pictures & Video

Thursday, January 10, 2013

Hello!! We are moving right along with crockpot week so here was tonight's dinner!!

Here's the video..

Its really simple..

If you are using chicken thighs just add them to the hot crockpot and salt and pepper.

If you are using chicken breast cut them up in little chunks

and then add to the crockpot and salt and pepper.

Then mix up the sauce.

honey, soy sauce, ketchup, oil, garlic, onion, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine well

Pour over the chicken..

Cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1 1/2-2 1/2 hours

In the meantime go ahead and cut some

green onions on an angle..

Once the chicken is done.. remove it from the crockpot.. If you are using thighs then cut the meat in chunks.

Then combine some cornstarch ( 2 or 3 tablespoons ) in water and whisk it into the crockpot to thicken up the sauce a bit.. then slide the chicken back in the sauce.

I served it over some simple sticky rice...

Plate it up.. top with some more of the sesame seeds and scallions...and enjoy!

Let me know if you try this!
