Hello! Its time for another Ask the Housewife post. These are always so much fun and it gives you the chance to get to know me a little better. Here we go! I picked out 30 questions to answer. If you don't see your question on here, then they will be on next months questions.

I am thinking about going to Culinary School in the spring. I know you went, do you think its a good idea?

Its a good idea if you don't mind working the hours. I was young when I was in culinary school and didn't think much about the hours I would actually have to work. If I took a baking job.. that most likely would have been really early mornings and if I was in the kitchen, late nights. Neither really suited me. But I loved culinary school and it was an amazing experience.

I love your cats! Are they hard to groom?

Romeo is the hardest to groom. He grooms himself a lot and that causes mats in his fur. But with all Persian cats, you should comb them weekly if not daily. My kitty cats are loves and enjoy grooming. But it is a big job to get them combed out.. bathed.. brushed out again.. blow dried.. and then brushed one last time. Its a even bigger job for me to bath and groom 4 cats in one day but its worth it to me because they bring so much happiness to our family.

Was it hard to set up your new blog design? I am a new blogger and don't know how to do all that stuff yet but your blog stands out to me. Any tips?

No it wasn't too hard. I made my blog as wide as I could because I love big pictures. I like the white back ground because I think it looks clean and after a long while of blogging, I wanted something that looked more neat and not so busy. I love the way the blog looks now and I don't really plan on making any big changes anytime soon. If you want more information or need additional help just email me!

You use to use organic eggs all the time but now in your last few food videos, you have used regular store brand eggs. Why the change?

I am feeding 3 boys and myself right now and I just can't afford organic eggs all the time. It takes a good dozen eggs to make a big batch of scrambled eggs for us so I am going to the cheaper option.  There is a big difference and I do notice it but thankfully they don't complain!

I read you had to take legal action on some online stalker. What is up with that? Please share!

Its too long to put it all in words but my ex boyfriends wife has secretly stalked me for years. She made some crazy websites dedicated to me and my family and she just wouldn't stop. Yes I had to take legal action but she is still on here all the time. I am still considering filing civil charges for slander but I am simply too busy right now. But its still an option. Right now the blogs are down, I have restraining orders on her and my ex, but she is still on this blog many times each day. I guess she doesn't think I can see her. I record EVERYTHING via video and recommend that if you are ever faced with this kind of problem.. you should document everything... report it every time.. and fight back. People like this don't change.

How long have you been with your husband? You both always look so happy in your photos. 

We have been together for almost 10 years now. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. He is truly the love of my life and we are happy together... MOST OF THE TIME. But we are just like any other couple and we have arguments and disagreements like anyone else. We just try to get through each day with as much love as possible.

What's your favorite lipstick right now?

Revlon Lip Butter in Creme Brulee. Its a lovely neutral color and its moisturizing..which is great for winter!

Do you have a lot of girlfriends? I ask because I never see many pictures with your friends. 

I do have friends! But not a ton of them..I think the older we get, we figure out who our true friends really are. Most of my friends are in Indiana and Kentucky where I grew up. Scott and I have moved a few times and to be very honest.. there are very few people around here I want to be friends with. My true friends haven't changed with the exception of meeting and marrying my best friend. I would do anything for him and we are total friends and he is who I pick to spend most of my time with.

I am shocked at how well your dog gets along with your cats. How did you make that happen?

I think Cooper thinks he's a cat. He was raised with cats and really has never had problems with them. There has been a couple of times he's growled at one.. but he gets in serious trouble for that.. but it doesn't happen often. He's a Golden Retriever and they are pretty happy dogs anyway. However, our Golden likes to act a little more bad ass but he's all love!

How do you sit in front of the camera and make videos? Does it ever embarrass you?

I just did it. At first it was pretty uncomfortable but not anymore. Sitting in front of a camera talking is harder than I ever thought it would be. I don't like the sound of my voice very much and my hair seems to always be a mess in each video but I just got to the point that none of that stuff really bothers me anymore. The focus is not always just me.. I am showing things.. or documenting my life..and I have made some great youtube friends along the way!

 Do you like the Carolina s  I have always wanted to live there.

I don't really care for it here. We are in North Carolina and the weather is reasonably good but we still have a pretty cold winter here. I don't really care for the town I live in either but this state is temporary for us. We are wanting to move to Florida sometime in the new year. I would pack up the house right now if we could move tomorrrow. But we are having to plan and save to make this move possible. North Carolina has some of the craziest driving laws and fines in all the states. It's next to impossible to get a driver licenses here. I don't like the winter.. even it if is mild and I am not a fan of the cost of living here either. But as long as I have my husband and my family.. I can call any where home.

Dream Job? Do you think you will ever do it?

Either a political journailist living in Washington DC or a journalist for a traveling magazine or blog. And no.. I doubt I will ever have either of those jobs!

Are you still couponing?

Absolutely. . I have been saving a lot over the holiday season with coupons and last week.. we used a big part of our grocery budget eating out and it worked out great because we had coupons for every where we ate which was steak n shake ( 2x ) .. Panera Bread and Golden Corral. I was shocked at the prices at Steak n Shake. I use to complain they were over priced but they have some great options for $4.99. Looks to me like they have really cut their prices. I have also been using a lot of drugstore coupons. CVS has some amazing coupons and deals going on.. Just check out this haul to see what I am talking about.

It bothers me to hear you complain about living in a big house. My family and I have a very small house and it would be a blessing to have 3 bathrooms. Why do you not like it?

Trying keeping a big house clean with a family. Its at least double the work. I like the size of the house but when I am the main one who has to keep it clean, its a little much. Plus I have ankle problems and we have a bunch of stairs that I go up and down many times a day. I am thinking a smaller house with a pool. If you do move to a big house.. email me back and let me know what you think about keeping it clean!

You really worried me when I read that you don't wear your seat belt. Are you wearing it yet? It can save your life and its not a good example to show to your children.

Your right. I should be setting a better example. I hate wearing my seat belt.. I don't think the government should be able to tell me what accessory in my car that I have to use. I think until you are 18 you should wear it but then it should be our own decisions. However.. my husband put a very big guilt trip on me the other evening. He let me know that if something happened to me because I wasn't wearing it.. it would be him and the kids that would suffer. Since then, I have been trying my best to wear it. The kids don't shy away from reminding me to put it on. I'm trying.

What do you do in your free time? 

I don't have that much free time but I play online..read...play with the cats.. lay in bed and be lazy with my husband!

What do you think about legalizing marijuana?

I wish they would hurry up and legalize it every where.

I love your blog! Do you plan on keeping it going..I ask because so many blog come and go and I hate going back and the blog never being updated or deleted all together.

I know what you mean.. recently two blogs that I followed and loved..stopped. One of the bloggers went private due to a stalker who kept harassing her.. and another blog I loved just quit blogging a couple months ago. SUCKS! But yes, I plan on being around for a very long time.

I am on wordpress and thinking of switching to blogger. What do you think?

That's a hard choice. I don't know really what one to recommend. I have accounts with both and I find I like my google account being linked to my blog but wordpress has some great things about it too. You will just have to play around with both to figure out which one you like best.

Probably the Peoples Court or Nancy Grace.

Why did your husband switch jobs?

The simple answer is.. he had a bio polar boss who just made things impossible. Scott is a happy kind of guy and he started coming home angry, exhausted, and disappointed. I was happy to see him get out of there. No he might come home tired but he's happy most of the time.

You are in the kitchen a lot. What is your favorite kitchen tool?

A really good sharp all purpose knife or set of knifes.

What is your favorite way cocktail or drink to serve during the holidays?

Spiced Eggnog, and I also love serving Sangria all year long.

What are your New Year Plans?

Staying home with my family and kissing my beautiful husband at midnight.

Do you ever regret putting your life out in the open on this blog?

I have regretted some of the post I have written when I was angry but I don't regret the blog. You live and you learn. I don't air all my families drama. I let their problems remain private but my life is different. I do voice out a lot of my thoughts, feelings, and opinions on here but I try to keep it pretty uplifting. This blog has been such a great experience that I don't regret it at all.

I have read you are ready to move to Florida. When is that happening? Will you still be blogging? And where in Florida will you be moving?

Of course I will keep blogging if I move. Florida does have internet! =) I don't know when we are moving but we are hoping before May of this next year. We plan on being in the Largo/Clearwater area for about 10 years and then we want to move further south.. We are currently trying to figure it all out but I see us getting there pretty fast. I am not just half ass packing the Christmas Decorations up this year. I am boxing them carefully because I plan on this being our last Christmas in North Carolina. I am even going to start an area on the wall in the spare bedroom that will be our inspiration board. Seriously.. I am putting it in motion because I want to move that much. I'm ready.
