Sweet Dreams

Hello! How was your Sunday!? It was a pretty good day for us! I didn't sleep that good last night so I woke up a little tired.. but I had a good morning with the boys.

Both the boys took off to the dealership to meet a police officer that they were selling a car to. I won't lie.. on family day.. I really prefer my husband to be home but I also understand selling cars... and they wanted to really make this customer happy. 

I stayed home and did my own thing which included.. 

2 Mocha Lattes. 

I making amazing lattes.. and my early afternoon alone also consisted of  the latest episode of 

Have any of you seen this show on OWN? I think she is great but what kinda bothers me is she spends 48 hours or so giving serious counseling and not ONE family or situation has been healed. They report at the end of each show what has happened with the guest.. and none of them have made it through it. Yesterdays episode was about a mother of 2 who left her husband and teenage sons for a man across the country.. stayed gone for 3 years.. and then wanted to come back. The boys were a mess. the ex husband not really feeling it but they were trying it anyway. Well.. it didn't work and she left again.. Maybe Iyanla needs to stay a little longer than 2 days. Its a great show but the long term outcome has not changed for any of the people so far.. Pretty depressing.

Anyway, the boys came home and took naps! I guess they got wore out selling the car! Ha! No.. they both woke up really early. While I was sitting there watching that depressing show.. I was menu planning, coupon clipping, and searching for recipes. 

While the boys napped.. I went shopping. 

I did really good.. I got everything for the week plus some baking items for less than $100. That freaking awesome! It took me a while to do the shopping.. I was checking off the looooong list.. making sure the coupons matched up.. and then checking that everything scanned at the register right. It was almost a 2 hour trip but I didn't forget anything and did really good saving some money! 

Then once evening came upon us, we went to the .. 

 Fair! 

This is the 2nd fair we have been to this fall and were not done.. We will probably go back to this one a few times. So much to see and do! This picture I snapped at the top of the Ferris wheel. I have a ton more pictures that will be coming up tomorrow.. and videos! 

We didn't get home till after 9pm and Jackson was exhausted. He took a quick shower and fell right to sleep. Scott and I sat around watching Oprah.. yes.. my husband does watch Oprah with me sometimes. I think he has finally realized it isn't just about Oprah.. its who she is talking to. Tonight it was Stephen Colbert. And it was a great interview! He's really smart, funny.. and he's kinda charming! 

Then it was off to a hot bath for me and since I have been laying in bed watching movies! Pretty easy night! But tomorrow isn't going to be so easy.. I have a lot to do around the house. However being its a late night for husby, I might doze back off after the boys leave in the morning. Its 2am right now so that alarm of mine is going to be going off pretty soon. I hate my alarm.. I seriously hate it.
