1. Tell us
about how and when you met your love and what attracted you most to him.
I met Scott a long time ago. We had a mutual friend - Jeff - and I was in the relationship of hell. Scott kept asking me if I was happy. I kept kept telling him lie after lie. He kept telling our mutual friend that he was going to marry me. My relationship was over.. Scott asked me again if I was happy and this time I told him the truth. No.. and from that very moment on my life changed. I was in Florida working with my mom when he flew in to see me.. and a couple of weeks later, I flew out to be with him and never came back. We worked on the road with his work for the first 2 years. It gave me exactly what I needed. I got myself together.. and fell in love with the most wonderful man ever. We worked 2 weeks and then we took 2 weeks off for vacation. We ended up all over and had a great time traveling together! We did that for 2 years, came off the road, got married, and created the most beautiful family ever!

This picture was taken the first year we were together. We had been together for about 6 months when this picture was taken. It was one of those vacations I was talking about. We spent a week at Disney and it was a vacation of a lifetime.. We stayed in the best hotel, got the best food, and just spoiled ourselves all week long!

some of your favorite memories that you two had together.
We have a lot of memories...great memories.. I think moving into our first house together was one of the biggest memories of all. We were done traveling and lucked into this beautiful little cabin in the middle of the woods to call home for 2 years. It was a old hunting cabin before they made it a house and there were NO CLOSETS in the entire house.. which created a small problem but we loved it! We camped out.. hiked.. spent time with the kids.. it was close enough to where we were from but far enough away. We seriously smiled in that home more than any other.

your favorite qualities about this man, what makes him "the one."
It wasn't easy for me to trust Scott at first. But he proved so loyal and loving..He was patient with me. I felt pretty frail in the beginning and he totally gave me the protection I so needed. He took me away from everything that was a mess in my life.. helped clear my head.. and gave me more love than any other man had. I think we both were just to a place where we needed each other.

what your "date nights" typically look like
Ha! We are getting old.. Date night looks like Dinner and Shopping or Dinner and a movie!
We spend most of our time together here at home. We are best friends so we sometimes have date night right here in the house with a bottle of wine and movie in bed.
