Movie Review : 5 Year Engagement

I know I already did a movie review on Monday - Arbitrage - but I have so many movies to tell you about that I am going to be having a few extra's up in the coming days!

Tonight's movie is the funny and sweet

5 Year Engagement 

Here's what the movie is about..


he director and writer/star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall reteam for the irreverent comedy The Five-Year Engagement. Beginning where most romantic comedies end, the new film from director Nicholas Stoller, producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, The 40-Year-Old Virgin) and Rodney Rothman (Get Him to the Greek) looks at what happens when an engaged couple, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt, keeps getting tripped up on the long walk down the aisle. -- (C) Universal

Ok.. so this was a really sweet goofy romantic comedy. I totally love Emily Blunt. She was really relaxed and played the part beautifully. I do think they could have picked a better guy than Jason Segal.. he's not a favorite of mine but they both had really good chemistry together. It such a modern comedy about the trials and tribulations of putting off their wedding for a long 5 years! There were a ton of laughs through out this charming film. I totally liked it and Jason Segal did kinda grow on me. I think the best part is the end.. how they actually do get married. Its awesome.. perfect for a movie night!

I am giving this movie.. 

because it was really really good! I'm not giving it 5 because I do think there was a better person to play her husband but again.. he kinda grows on you through out the movie. If you have a chance to see this.. its worth watching!
