Since I have heard of this mascara being a dupe for Georgio Armani Eyes to Kill.. I knew I had to try it. I was so happy when I found it easily in my local CVS for only $7.99.. which would be a compete steal if its a good mascara. This paricular mascara is suppose to give you the volume of the original but with more definition.

As you can see the main difference in the old and the new is that the tube is no longer grey but gold instead.

The brush is pretty close but you can see in the picture below..

it does look like a little finer bristles

I don't think this is too wet of a mascara either. You will have a little excess on the tip of the wand but not too bad. It time it will dry out more anyway.

It gives full, thick, lashes and I am totally impressed! I have read about many professional makeup artists using this as their go-to mascara and must have - there's a reason, it works! It does what it claims to do. You get the same great volume as the original Voluminous but this version does do a better job at defining the lashes.

I purposely didn't put on a lot of eye shadow because I wanted to the lashes to stand out in the picture.. and I didn't curl my lashes. However, it did slightly curl my lashes on the corners. I apply mascara by slightly lifting up my eyes at my brow bone to really be able to work the wand at the base of my lashes and then kinda wiggle out. This mascara gave me volume at the base and defined each of my lashes.

I am a mascara girl.. I love it and I do feel naked without it. This mascara is totally buildable if you want more dramatic lashes yet it doesn't take a long time to dry.  You can go more natural too with just one coat and they still look amazing!

I have found this to be a very good mascara for the price. Its crazy how good it is. I would have never guessed but it now one of my top drugstore favorites now!

So I am totally rating this mascara with an

A+

because I love it!  I always seem to go back to Loreal Mascaras. I am also in love the

Loreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes in Black Lacquer. I really don't know if I could pick just one of these as my favorite because I love them both so much! To see my review for the Loreal False Fiber Lashes Mascara you can click right here!! Yay to Loreal for some great new mascaras! I am in love!

Have you tried either of these?? Do you agree with my review? Let me know!
