Its been a hell of a day for me today. After my long ring hunt ( you can read all about that here ) and very little sleep I was a super
Grumpy
today. I mean it was hard to not just stay in bed and say screw it but I couldn't do that with the kids here. But I think it would have been the best thing to do being I have felt horrible all day. Until later in the day, I didn't accomplish shit either. I tried to fill myself with as much coffee and espresso as I could but that did very little to give me any kind of energy.
Thankfully both kids were really understanding about how I was feeling. Brittany laid around with me in the living room for hours on end and Jackson did a great job of entertaining himself with
leggos and xbox. Finally in the late afternoon hours I got busy starting to get Brittany packed up. She also wanted me to show her daddy the new outfit she got pretty much in his honor..
She has a TON of new school clothes but this one outfit she thought he would love... So she had me send him some pictures of it and he loved them!
I also got working on the massive amount of laundry that was waiting on me.. and before I knew it husby was home and picking weeds out of the flower beds..
Another job that I am totally running behind on!
Then he was working with teaching Jackson how to
skateboard a little better!
It was so cute to watch!
And after a little time and a little help
Jackson started doing a little better on his own!
And even Super Cooper was outside having some fun too!
I finally got around to making dinner about 8:30.. I sure in the hell didn't want to cook but I didn't want to go out either so that called for..
Pancakes.. I can't even begin to explain how much pancake mix we use around here but it did hit the spot really well. Actually I think the
glass of milk tasted the best!
After dinner, we rested up for a while...
And Jackson got some cuddle time.. Is this not the cutest picture!? Love it!!
I hurried through cleaning the kitchen and even getting breakfast ready for morning and by 930 I was upstairs for the night. I enjoyed a long hot
bubble bath. I got out and tucked the kids in bed and came right to bed myself. Its been a long tiring day and I can't do anything else.. ( except finish this post ) and then I am done. I will be asleep in the next 30 minutes.. Well, as soon as I run all the cats out of here!
These two are precious!
Willow is a sweetheart and my Romeo is a
bit more of a handful! He loves to drive the girls crazy.. Gosh I can't wait till we get some kittens!
Anyway, its been a long day and I am so tired. I need lots of sleep tonight so I wake up feeling much better tomorrow. I have a lot to do to get ready for our trip to Indiana and I can't waste another day.
Also tomorrow is my sister in laws birthday..
We love you.. cant wait to see you this weekend!
