Its been a really long day and night around here. I am totally out of energy at this point and tomorrow isn't looking much better! I did get some sleep last night which made today possible thank goodness! We are leaving for Indiana on Saturday and I haven't packed at all. Brittany's stuff is strung out through out the house so tomorrow we have a lot to do. Also she just has to go to the ceramic shop tomorrow to make something for someone so its going to take a lot of time up tomorrow getting things done. And its late so I am sure not getting up too early. I hate busy days!!!!

Today we started off with shoe shopping..

I felt Jackson needed some new sandles so I got him these Nike ones

and to be very honest he is not that crazy about them...

 Brittany picked out these..

Then Brittany and I went clothes shopping. She has a ton of stuff already but I got her some new shorts.. which frankly was a fight. Her school rules are they have to be to the knee and she wasn't having it. She even got on the phone with her dad and fought with him over it that ended in tears.. I made a compermize and got one pair that was shorter ( not too short though! ) and 4 longer pairs. Boy.. 10 year old little girls are not so easy!

We also got Zane some more

School uniforms.

We were finished up with the first part of shopping and grabbed a late lunch. Then we came home for about 30 minutes and back out we went..

This time backpack shopping..

And I got one too. Brittanys is the pink, mine is the black and Jacksons is the lime green. Can you tell we are a Nike family around here? Zane didn't get one of these.. I didn't even see them till after he left so after we get back from our trip, I will have to get him one too. He can give his other to his brother.

BTW.. the other day Scott and I heard on the radio that this year the average cost to get your kids in school is $650 per child.. and at the time I thought they were crazy.. but now I totally agree!

At this point it was 8pm already and we met husby for dinner..

Here's our little drama queen!!

How cute is this!?

Jackson got a bad case of the giggles and just

couldn't stop laughting

and laughing...

and laughing!!

After dinner Jackson and Scott left together for home and Brittany and I went to do a little shopping to restock up on a few needed Burts Bees Products..

To see full post click here.. Then by time we got home I was totally exhausted and had a lot of stuff to put away and the animals to feed..it was 1am before I got in the bath. Yea.. loooong day!

And then check out Romeo..

He was totally zipping and zapping around the house going crazzzzzzzyyyy! He landed on one of my new leather kitchen chairs and started to tare into with his nails.. I couldn't have killed him. He's so freaking cute though! I have declawed cats in the past and I love them not being able to tear the furniture up but its not good to do and I just don't do it anymore. But tonight the thought crossed my mind as his nails when into those chairs. I yelled at him for it and he just dashed off to another room!

Well its 3am here and I need to get some sleep! Ohhhh. I got a invite for a Thankful Thursday Blog Hop and I couldn't do it today because of time but I will start it next week!! I think its a great link up post because having a gratitude journal of sorts does wonders. I know it does and even on the hardest days or weeks it makes you focus on finding the good. I don't know how much I will be blogging tomorrow. I will blog a little but the next 3 days are going to be crazy busy. I also didn't get the drugstore steals and deals done but I will be home Sunday night and will for sure have them posted by then. Hopefully Saturday from the hotel I can work on them too! I will however be sure to get up Friday letters and Fill in the -- Friday for sure tomorrow!

I also have bought some great school supplies and can't wait to share them with you!! I plan on basically plan on having a command center on one of the walls to keep us all together this school year. Life is really about to change around here... Big time!

Have a great Friday!!
